All comes down to Portland, they win and they're the 3 and Houston 4, lose and it's reversed.

Bradley Beal goes for 25/5/5 this year and has 2 years left on his contract. That is a helluva trade asset if the new Washington GM decides a thorough rebuild is the best way to go--- OR- is a great foundation piece to build around.

with the flattened lotto odds the Wiz's chances at a top 3 pick are really not that bad as well.

Bobby Portis needs to start getting a little more respect. He is a talented player- and while he is not on the same level as a Jarret Allen or John Collins, he might not be too far down the next tier.

So the Kings basically tanked the second half to out tank the Blazers?

Weird.

Well the West goes through the Warriors the Rockets may as well get to it in the second round provided they beat the Jazz.

They're dumb if they don't trade him. Keeping him around would be such an Ernie Grunfeld move. If they deal him for young players and picks, they'll be bad enough next year to hit the top of the lottery next year. They need to take full advantage of not having Wall around.

I wonder if the Kings are gonna fire Joerger. With a young team who exceeded expectations it'd make sense to keep the coach and hope he keeps moving them forward, but he's also had flaws this season and they need the right coach in place to make that push into becoming legit contenders whether that's him or someone else.

I mostly agree....gotta get the right deal though. Beal is pretty high up there among the best in basketball and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Thats pretty rare.

IF you have a great player with a good head on their shoulders that wants to be on your team its not always the best to trade them unless you can really get an outstanding package of assets.

If he was super talented but a shit head like Jimmy Butler id say deal him in a second.

not only that but the coaching pool that you would be hiring from is prob one of the best in the recent franchise of the history considering the bright future of its young players.

IF you fire Joerger you gotta have a plan and a guy that you are targeting.

are you on drugs? or just a dip shit of epic proportions? to compare a guy who won DPOY and has led his team to the palyoffs in the West to a guy who plays 23 minutes a game and was banished to the bench?

its not even a discussion between Goert and Whiteside- its not even close.

You are right. It isn't close. Gobert is a lot better.

Just like it is not a conversation between Draymond and and Nance.

Whiteside is A LOT closer to Gobert than Nance to Draymond. And the chasm between Gobert and Whiteside is vast.

Honestly, not sure it will be that much better when Wall eventually returns.

But I agree.

Trade Beal for the best package of young players/picks you can find.

Might even be able to land a top 5 pick this year if the right team moves up (Dallas, LAL, etc.)

Whiteside finishes the year with a DNP-CD, averages 23 minutes a game, was banished to the bench, and the Heat are praying that he declines his player option worth 27M next year

#timevindicates

1. Heat wanted UD to play yesterday. Bam played because he played in all 82.
Are you really that stupid?

2. He was “ banished to bench”, and his minutes went down. Of course.
Bam is really fucking good and will be here long term.

Combine their stats.
Does any team have a better 1-2 C combo?

As far as opting out, of course it would be nice because then Riley could trade someone else and the Heat would have money this summer vs next.
Wont happen though.

The only thing vindicated is how wrong you were and still are.

Whiteside never quit working, and we’re still waiting for the mental meltdown where he gets ejected/suspended.

He’s a lot better player today then the day he signed his max.

supposedly....Magic wanted to draft Fox over Ball but Jeanie Buss stuck her fat nose in because she wanted to draft the UCLA guy that would be a "bigger star" and easier to market in the LA area and it was a point of tension between the two- that got bigger and bigger when it became clear that Fox was absolutely a much much better choice.

I never understood owners that like to make personnel decisions like that when they have people in place that they pay to make those decisions. How do you properly evaluate someone at their job when they constantly keep stepping on them in the process?

bragging about a center combo is like bragging about your mint condition 1987 Ford Taurus

and yes- Love and Thompson- much better center "combo"....got the Cavs 19 wins and it got the Heat 10th place in the East. big fucking whoop. lol

Obviously, in retrospect, Riley would have never done the Whiteside deal. Not even a question. 23 minutes a game for a 27M dollar player is hilarious.

Shouldn't Whiteside be out of the league now according to wiggy @TurnUpTheHeat ?

Vindicated my ass

Hassan has at least another 4-6 years left which means he would have played 10 seasons.

So its a bad thing the Heat looks like it hit a home run with Bam?

And Tistan/Love?
Love is a C?
We’ve seen how that works out.

Wasn’t Tristan the hard working, never injured, stand up quality person in all your posts?

Didn’t Tristan get caught fucking some bitch while his wife was giving birth, then again fucking her best friend or something?

And how many games missed to injury?

Or a factor in any of the great 19 wins this season.

a "home run"

you are delusional. I: mean, i will ask my question again- just where do you think this is going for Bam? Do you think he is going to be an All Star someday? a top 20 player in the Eastern Conference?

As i said before- young bigs like Jarret Allen, John Collins, Myles Turner are certainly much more heralded as young big men in the Eastern Conference.

Just where do yout think this is going for "Bam"?

@WiggyRuss @Heatles84

I really didn’t pay attention to Heat salary this summer because I figured one more year as is.
However, I heard on radio that Whiteside opting out doesn’t help Heat with cap this summer anyway.

They were suggesting he doesn’t opt out, then the Heat trade his expiring contract to a team that needs a C.
