The Big 4 Free Agents, Kawhi, Kyrie, Klay and Durant are likely not going to LA.

I doubt Kemba goes as i think staying in place, or going to his hometown of NY is more likely- but I wouldnt totally rule him out either.

I could see Jimmy Butler going, who would help in the next year or two, but I dont think I would want to give Jimmy Butler 4 years 140M dollars. He will be 30 when next season starts, and is, in my opinion, a major head case.

LA's really only hope is to trade for AD. I think you might be able to see them offer their current lottery pick, future 1st, Ingram, Kuzma and Hart for AD. The trade for him might be appealing because the Pelicans could also create a trade exception in excess of 16M+, which could help them absorb another bad contract from a team later and get future assets as well. Or if they're really hurting let it expire and net the difference.

If they're able get AD, have a healthy Lonzo and Lebron, that's a solid foundation. If you could add one more mid tier piece as a starter and then be smart with the role players they use to round out the roster the Lakers could be formidable next year.

AD is honestly the key to the Lakers offseason.

If Riley is so awful why hasn't he been fired & why isn't the national media on him for the so called bad job he's doing? Oh wait I know the answers. You're full of shit, as usual.
Because he is Pat Riley. same reason Magic Johnson gets a pass from most. Difference, though, is at least Riley has had success in a FO.

Drummond > Whiteside

#timevindicates

@TurnUpTheHeat[/QUOTE]

Time vindicates you’re not the sharpest tool in the shed.

1. Whiteside>Tristan was ‘debate’.

2. At that time most said it was a tossup between Whiteside / Drummond.

3. Pistons dont have Bam. Whiteside minutes are way down, but he’s still been productive. Drummond has been better this season though, no doubt.

I think you may be right.

You know what is really ironic about that though?

Had they not played their hand to get AD the way they did, those other guys might be more likely to join the Lakers. Nobody good is signing there unless the lakers can sell them on a vision for the near future. Right now it is fair to doubt what that vision is.

Spo really annoys me at times.

Boston continues to find the soft spot in the zone and are getting easy looks for Horford/Tatum in the middle of the zone but Spo refuses to switch to man.

So damn stupid.

Heat, Pistons, and Nets all lose.

Heat with the best chance to win their next game

Heat are in Minnesota, Brooklyn in Milwaukee, and Detroit in Oklahoma.

Solid chance that Brooklyn wakes up in 9th on Sunday Morning.

That was never really a debate. At best we thought Whiteside was around Drummond's level. His minutes are down, but he's been productive when he's played. It's clear that the Heat value Bam going forward. The real debate was Whiteside vs. Tristan Thompson.

Only Wiggy made it into a debate.
The poll spoke for itself.
