He didn't meet my arbitrary requirement of being 6'10" or bigger. Same with Siakim and few other guys.

Yeah I added an edit part after I fully read your post, lol.

Vucevic and Nurkic should get some love too. Though I'm not sure where they fit.

Nurkic I would definitely put on the list. Vucevic is playing well this year but has been a pretty average player for most of his career up until this year.

Hmmmm. Of the top of my head. Assuming when you say big man you are saying something anyone 6'10" or bigger. A general list. After the top 5 is starts getting pretty squishy

1. Giannis
2. AD
3 . Embiid
4. Jokic
5. Gobert
6. KAT
7. Griffin
8. Aldridge
9. Adams
10. Gasol
11. Capela
12. Love

Boogie is a top 5 player when healthy. Not sure where to put him now. Porzingas is definitely top 10 when healthy as well.

Love could be anywhere from 8 to 12 on that list. OTOH, guys like Sabonis or Turner or Drummond
I'd probably put Love no worse than 9th (7-9, though might be a stretch) on the list. Not sure I'd have Gobert as high, but I guess depends what you need. Can be tough to compare a stretch 4 with a true 5.

Might switch Embid and AD but could really flip a coin.

When healthy he is easily a top 10 guy. But health has been an issue.

So the Sixers won't have Embiid tonight and the Thunder won't have George tonight.

Sixers also won't have Boban so unless Jonah Bolden can avoid getting fouled out in the first 20 minutes of the game, I would say the Thunder are just going to run over the Sixers.

Just put a lineup together. Going with:

PG - Westbrook
SG - Steph
SF - Jerebko
PF - Love
C - Cousins
G - Dragic
F - Ellenson
UT - Okogie

Nevermind, swapped out love and Dragic for Tobias Harris and Jonah Bolden.

did a couple in FD so different format, but one I think I like best is this one.....

Westbrook
T. Jones
Mitchell
Beasley
Ingles
Osman
Harris
Boldin
Robinson

I have Mitchell in both. No Rubio nor Neto so he'll play heavy minutes at PG.

Dude was ballin. Good to see he'll be back sooner rather than later.

On a side note, the top 5 picks in this past NBA draft were Ayton, Bagley, Luka, JJ and Trae.

All these guys look like they're on their way to becoming really good NBA players.

sucks but could have been worse.
Good news bad news type of outcome, he could still help them this season and it looked worse last night but it'll be tougher to win games without him. Clippers Friday is a big game and they play Boston twice over the next 2 weeks. Yeah they play the Knicks twice and Wizards during that time but Washington might not be an automatic win and the Knicks could make it interesting. Next man up.

It could be one of the best drafts ever, very impressive rookie class so far.

Hell Yeah!

Lillard and it's not even close.

But I'm hearing the Knicks are more than just "interested" in Kemba Walker....and are still gonna be all in on KD during this upcoming off season.

Sounds blasphemous,

But, if the Knicks win the lottery and complete a trade for AD, and sign KD,

I would DEFINITELY rather have Kemba than Kyrie.

Kemba, KD, AD + M. Robinson would be a hell of a start.

And I think Smith + Zion + a pick + salary filler should be enough to get AD.

By gawd, that's Justin Patton's music!!!!!

I'm already writing off this game as a mulligan so I can concentrate on putting together Phillies lineups with Harper.....

Because a poll among people with preconceived notions who ignore logic and facts proves what, exactly?

I get many fans think Love is not that good and that's the point. They think 20-10 guys who can hit 3s grow on trees. If only he would rant and rave, accrue techs, kick guys in the nads as opposed to a quiet guy who is a team player.

You don't have logic and facts on your side though.

Your assumptions might have been true 15 years ago. Not today.

Because Love can't do 2 of the 3 things big men have to be able to do to be effective defenders in the modern NBA. So he is a strong minus defensively despite his rebounding prowess. The 10 boards are trumped by his struggles protecting the rim and guarding in space.

Klay is a top notch defender capable of guarding 3 positions and a great catch and shoot player who does not need to monopolize the ball the get his 20 points (neither does Love).

Klay Thompson is literally the prototype for what you want a non-superstar wing player to look like in the modern NBA.

And LOL how you assume EVERY Poster here has preconceived notions or is somehow biased because they don't agree with your homer take on Kevin Love.

You are extremely wrong.

So they recalled him to the Sixers but Brown says he doesn't expect him to play tonight? WTF? Because of all the options he has at the 5?

Let's see. The Sixers have Johan Bolden and, uuhhhhhh, Ben Simmons? I don't care if Patton goes out there and never crosses into the offensive half of the court. We need someone who can at least kinda slow down Adams.
