Yep, he is a great player but the fit of the team around him has to be perfect for him to win...but we have never seen it so really it doesn't look like he is winning anything without Lebron. If they get bounced in the 1st, I guarantee he looks really hard at leaving, Nets, Knicks, Clip, maybe even the Lakers. Sign Kyrie and trade for Beal...not sure if the money lines up but LA needs to make moves. Ingram and Kuzma are improving but their defense sucks.

Ingram has solid defensive stats this season.

Kevin Love hasn't averaged 20 ppg since he left Minny.
You know who that Lebron fellow is, right? His points probably came down a tad playing with him (and Kyrie for 3 of the years).

Only played regular minutes this year 4 games. We'll see what happens when off his minute restrictions.

be thou silent...

you do not view the game with logic and facts...
right...probably just coincidence his scoring came down playing with Lebron 4 years and Kyrie 3 of the 4.

Chris Bosh, a similar player, went from 20+ for 5 years, below 20 with Lebron in 4 seasons, then back above 20 after he left.

That the logic and facts you meant?

Ingram has solid defensive stats this season.

I mean as a whole, not just Ingram and Kuzma even though I don't think they are great defenders...they are decent. But by team efficiency, as a whole the Lakers are a middle of the road defensive team. Not too awful, they have improved some. Offensively they turn the ball over A LOT. Pretty common for a pretty young team

Looking @ CB's #'s while he did average 21.1 ppg during the '14-'15 he only played in 44 games & his .485 FG% was his lowest since his 2nd year in the league.

Too bad his career was cut short due to health issues. I think he's a sure-shot HOFer. Not many 11x All Stars w/ 2 rings have been left out.

Yeah...sad story and a tough way to go out. Seems like a good guy.

None of the Lakers are truly "one on one, lock a guy down" defenders. A couple of them are solid at it, like KCP and Lonzo...Lebron and Rondo can do it for a few minutes here and there, but that's about it.

But, when healthy, they are good at team defense. Lonzo was a big part of that because he's good at picking up other point guards early and forcing the ball out of their hands and the communication was better.

It would have been really interesting to see Cavs vs. Heat in the EC if Bosh had stayed healthy after Lebron left.

I said Kyrie would "have a far greater impact" even though I would choose Curry over him? did I give a situation where I said I'd take Kyrie over Curry?

How do you stand behind picking Curry even though you think Kyrie would have a far greater impact? Wouldn't it make sense to pick Kyrie if this is your theory?? lol

A game against Olynyk would still be nice....no need to take chances.
Other players need to take a page out of Olynyk's book. Love gets away with hooking guys' arms so they can't box him out or go for rebounds. Olynyk don't play that $h!t though.

It would if I said Kyrie would have "a far greater impact".

You made a mistake. No big deal. I get not in you to just say, "my bad...didn't realize you said you'd take Curry over Kyrie."

Looking foward to OKC vs Philly. The Thunder haven't lost to Philly since early in Westbrooks rookie year.

I actually laugh as I read these comments wondering how far you'll go to avoid admitting you made a mistake.
