Here's one of my posts from last month

tOfficial Lavar Ball Super Thread

"
They tried to trade him multiple times last year, it was just kept behind closed doors I believe.

No one forgot about the Nick Young incident, and the Lakers are willing to bid farewell to anyone but Ingram."

And your response was basically telling me I'm full of shit and the Lakers aren't initiating any trades for Russell.

To be fair, he said if Kyrie ever left the Cavs it would be for Lakers.

On here. But on FN? He denied it and laughed it off.....Mecca, LAD, and Mick know I'm spitting the truth. He's a flip flopper, shouldn't surprise anybody.

Glad it didn't happen. Lakers need Ball in this draft with Russell gone. No need to bend over for Indiana, they obviously aren't getting blown away with offers from anyone else.

If they had traded the 10th, 27th, and 28th picks they still could have snagged a point guard with the 5th pick....

You can get them both at the same time...lol

I don't know what that tweet was based on.

Unless, Indy is just tweeking the Lakers to get more?

Yeah, we can get 2 max players next summer but I'd prefer to trade for PG now and get 2 max players next summer....

Paul George told the Lakes not to trade away the young talent (besides Snitch, who wants to play with a Snitch? no one).

Ugh, a few hours after I deride Bropez he becomes a Laker (shakes head). At least he's an expiring contract, basically a one year bridge to Zubac becoming the starter. Getting rid of Mozgov was key, and once PG is a Laker, Russell was expendable anyway. That said, I really would've expected Russell to have more value then that; I guess not everyone paid attention to his play down the stretch last year.
I am not a Lopez fans by any means, but he is substantially more productive then Mozgov and can help Zubac

I still don't see any urgency. Get PG next summer. The Cavs ship is sinking regardless.
The Cavs have plenty of time - the main teams doing a lot of dog and pony shows are the ones in the top of the draft. They will make moves in due time

I don't see it that way. Cleveland *could* win out in terms of being able/willing to offer more assets for George. But Paul George will probably have doubts about Lebron staying in Cleveland long term. The minute he bolts, so the Cavs' title chances. Dude couldn't stand living in Indiana, you think he's staying long term in Cleveland?

I'm posting all over Irving's Twitter.....demand a trade to the Lakers. You can follow in the greatness of West, Kobe, etc....he hasn't blocked me yet.

They have more assets? How many draft picks? Lakers have 3 in the 1st round.

Kevin Love. They have an established all star. Draft picks are a crap shoot for the most part; especially that late in the 1st round. Now if you give up that #2.......but then you're essentially unloading everything you have. Meanwhile, George could just do a year in Cleveland (if traded) and leave as a free agent. Dude seems pretty set on going to LA.
