Absolutely. He's a solid center for one season, after which his cap space is more valuable. Could potentially be traded at the deadline for an asset as well for someone else looking to dump some salary, but only if it works with the Lakers plans.

That's what I was thinking. I think there is a moratorium though that prevents the Lakers from trading him for at least two months or something like that though, but we will be good or should be by Feb

So Kings turned down 2 for 5/10? Probably a good call, the only way you make that trade is if you're convinced Josh Jackson or Lonzo is gonna be a superstar. Better off getting one of Tatum/Isaac/Jackson/Fox/Ball at 5 and having the 10th pick separate to either trade or pick the BPA.

5/10 to move up to #1 and get Fultz I would definitely consider because I think he's the best in the draft. Getting Fox at 5 is fine, and maybe Jackson or Ball fall to 5th anyway. Bring on draft day.
