I've got to think that Dallas at least offered him something reasonable. Something like 4 years, $60 million. And he didn't think it was a good enough offer. The problem is -- no one else offered him anything better. Or anything at all, from what I can tell. It sucks when you see Evan Turner get paid and you know he's half the player you are . . . but what are you going to do? Bad timing screwed Noel -- he probably would have gotten $20 million per year last year.

Buttercup needs to suck it up and sign a 1 or 2 year deal and prove he is a player deserving of more $. He's young, he'll get paid if he continues to show improvement. And stay healthy.

Noel should just bet on himself this year and take the QO. If he shows he can stay healthy, he'll have an easy road to a lot of playing time on a bad team. That'll inflate his numbers and his value.

Yeah, the ages of the kids was always surprising. Plus it's kind of funny for the book Bran to be so young and the tv version is like a 6'0" giant now, lol.

I don't mind not seeing Lady Stoneheart. It wasn't one of the more interesting story lines to me though. I'm curious if they'll just skip over the Gendry line too since we haven't seen him for a few seasons.
I think Gendry pops up next episode.

After what happened last week, I hope the final scene is a Red Herring and not foreshadowing Jaime as the PTWP.

Smoke and salt, drowning and rebirth.

That would also tie in well with him being the Valonqar when you remember the way the prophecy states Azor Ahai activated Lightbringer.

But, I don't want him to be the anti hero.

I want him and his sister/wife to burn...lol

Shit, maybe they are Targaaryan too?

Cousins and Jordan will be on the market too.

I think next year will be the Dennis Smith Jr. Show in Dallas.

Between DSJ, Yogi, Dirk, Harry B......he better be spectacular defensively because he gets no touches on Offense.

Noel will get offensive touches.

He is on the Tristan Thompson plan.

Get your ass to the boards son. Only way you get the ball.

See, guys always gotta go too far.

Make the playoffs first, for chrissakes.
Well I don't see anything wrong with having some fantasies, as long as they actually know the difference:lol:

The Dion Waiters model

It's worth the risk for young, healthy guys for sure.

Worked out well for guys like Dion, Harrison Barnes, Otto Porter.

Not so much for Ian Clark who got the minimum, Roberson who lost a couple mil a year.

But, George Hill and Domatas are the biggest losers of betting on yourself.

Matter of fact, BJ Armstrong should be fired since his client only got a million bucks to go play in Bum-fuck-Egypt.

George Hill turned down a 3 year extension from the Jazz last year.

The extension offer was 3 years for $74 million + a $13.6 million raise for last year (2017). When you stacked it on last year’s salary, it would have totaled 4 years for $88 million.

Clearly, both he and the Jazz envisioned things going differently this 2017 Summer.

I hear that Tristan guy is better than Hassan Whiteside.
