It is really funny hearing some former players talk about the current generation.

Barkley was talking about Kyrie today. HE kept saying that you want to play with other great players and that you want to win, so he didn't understand Kyrie's motivation.

But, out of the other side of his mouth, he and others were quick to criticize KD and others who have left to team up with other stars.

Criticizing both sides seems contradictory to me. If you hate what KD did, you should respect Irving wanting to go out on his own. Personally, I don't have a problem with KD. I think everyone knows where I stand on Kyrie.

Kinda pissed that Brooklyn is playing Miami in Mexico City this season. There goes my chance of seeing my Heat in Brooklyn unless they visit the Nets 2X this season

This is why I'm happy I never see Heat players in those pickup games. Mclemore will miss basically the first month of the season now.

This is huge. If these guys still rest frequently after this then they should get suspended.

• Eliminating stretches of four games in five days and 18 games in 30 days.

• Reduction of five games in seven nights to just 40 instances across (1.3 per team), down from last year when it was on the schedule 90 times (three per team).

• Reduction in number of back-to-backs to 14.9 per team, down from 16.3 per team. In all, 40 back-to-backs have been eliminated from last season.

• Reduction of single-game road trips by 17 percent.

• Reduction in single-game road trips over 2,000 miles by 67 percent; there are only 11 of them on schedule.

• Increase in weekend games from 549 to 568, much of the boost coming on Saturdays. Previously the NBA avoided Saturdays and Sunday afternoons during football season to dodge conflicts.
