2017 NBA Offseason Thread

He played well last year.. He played in the triangle (Or a mangled mess of one) and he hated it and no one learned it. He'll playing in a system that benefits his game more in Cleveland.

Him and Bron will be driving a lot and kicking it out to the sharpshooters. They will dominate the East again. They need more than Rose though and fix those other problems. Like some more defensive minded players and another added BIG to go with Thompson

Bron will open up ALOT of open buckets and drive to Rose as well.

They'll make it out of the East but unless they get those other issues stitched up, they aren't taking it all over the West.

They need to make some more moves than just Rose. Get some defenders, get another big man.

Hes a downgrade for now until he can get his groove back, but who knows how he works within the system in Cleveland. I assume he will be ok. The East is still going to be MUCH weaker than the West. Cavs will make the finals bar another major injury catastrophe from Rose.

I dont think Cleveland is gonna beat whoever comes out of the West regardless. Even if Irving stayed.

Lebron doesn't play D anymore. They gotta get away from the 3 point chuck game. And they need another piece to go with Thompson down low. Changing out PG's isn't gonna do it all for them. They have deeper problems than that. They still can get to the finals though again

Point Guard is one of the most important positions in basketball. Cleveland is not going to trade Irving and not get a PG back in return and leave their PG duties to Rose, Calderon, and Felder. You're on crack if you think that.

Lebron doesn't want those duties full time though. He really doesn't want to bring the ball up all the time, get the team in their offense, and etc 100% of the time when he is on the court

That's probably the nicest thing I've ever heard you say. Because when I saw Lebron go to the bench, it was like seeing a 100-pound cinder block being tied to someones ankles in the middle of the ocean and watching them stay afloat.

I would best just about anything that they won't.

Celtics lose depth and exchange a scoring PG for a much more ball dominant scoring PG. Also, how motivated do you think LeBron will be for that series? No chance he would let Kyrie beat him in a playoff series.
