I would best just about anything that they won't.

Celtics lose depth and exchange a scoring PG for a much more ball dominant scoring PG. Also, how motivated do you think LeBron will be for that series? No chance he would let Kyrie beat him in a playoff series.

I think that would be the most motivated Lebron we'll have ever seen.

Lebron doesn't want those duties full time though. He really doesn't want to bring the ball up all the time, get the team in their offense, and etc 100% of the time when he is on the court

I get that.

But my point is that they don't need an all star point guard. They just need a guy who can dribble the ball up he court. Offense runs through LeBron.

It'll be like the Olympics where Melo just nails open jumper after open jumper. I like the move for OKC. Melo with an elite facilitator and a solid defensive big man has proven to be productive in the past. Throw in Paul George and I think the team would be pretty good, better than any team in the Eastern Conference.

The Olympics is what? 8 games? and most of that against vastly inferior competition. I don't see Melo just standing at the 3 point line nailing jumper after jumper against NBA competition for 82 games.

Who exactly is this "elite facilitator" that OKC has?

I still think Kyrie, for all his shortcomings, puts Boston in a better position to beat Cleveland than they are in now.

That being said, unless LeBron has a horrible series, and the Celts can find a way to neutralize TT(Baynes?), the Cavs probably win.

You're seriously too busy to do the mock drafts with Nos and co (that's the excuse you allegedly gave them)? You're almost on here 24/7.....

1) That was over a year ago for a specific mock draft they asked me about.

2) I don't care to do mock drafts

Me too. It isn't like he has to do it alone. Boston has a lot of talent. And I think he upgrades the PG position for them.

I'm gonna be fucked when it's 1970's players and non HOF'ers.....

Yeah it's a lot of research if you're not too familiar with guys from that time period. I would only do mock based on the last 15-25 years

I just need to finish in the top 3. I need an infusion of SportsHoopla cash. Hopefully, I can get lucky in my matchups.....thankfully, I'm not in a play-in situation.

The point that @tlance mentioned is it's not that much of an upgrade. Especially considering the Celtics would have to give up extra players (taking away depth) to upgrade a position by just a minuscule amount. In fact, it would hurt the offense more considering that IT's more the play maker than Irving is, while Irving is more skilled but more ball dominant. You guys need to quit looking at it on paper and actually think how these players would fit with one another.
