It's a trade aimed at getting rid of a bad contract (Mozgov) to make room for real players in a year's time. Will Bron Bron go to Hollywood?

Yeah vet minimums but guys that can actually play not James Jones and Dahntay Jones lol

Agree but not so easy to find anymore, and prob even harder because the Warriors figure to be the ring chasers #1 destination of choice this season.

Not quite sure what to say. I really like Russell, believe he has a BRIGHT future, and I HATE to see a guy that young with that potential go...but on the positive side we got rid of Mozgov and got another pick. Another trade is around the corner imo. As for who won, I mean I have no clue

Draft Russell at #2. 2 years later, all he is worth is a very late first round pick. Lol wow

If they wanted #2, they would not likely settle for that package. 27 and 28 are not all that valuable.
I'd rather have #32.

Same caliber player, no guaranteed money.

Hey, isn't this the year they start that weird 2 way player contract with the G League?

Just got home and see this garbage Brook Lopez trade on my screen. Get the fuck outta here with that shit. This absolutely better be part of more deals. You damn well better be flipping 27, 28 and more for Paul George. Because if this is just to clear cap space in 2018 for the possibility of two stars, this is just dumb.

You can wait another year to clear space. Russell is a good, young player. His value would have grown. You could have gotten more out of him than just a Mozgov dump. And Brook Lopez? UGH. He's a starter caliber center. At best, slightly above average. Except he's ALWAYS hurt. I'd rather have Robin Lopez and than Brook. At least he plays (and kills mascots).

I like to see this as a Laker win. Moves a terrible contract and Lopez is not exactly a bad player.

Yeah this is terrible what they got back in return for a guy who was the 2nd pick in 2015
