They won't likely be picking in the high lottery for LaMelo. LiAngelo will be lucky to be a 2nd rounder and may still be in school when the youngest LaMelo is in the draft (2020 if one-done).

Carroll was a horrible contract. That pick is going to be mid 20s.

I think it's pretty likely his kids have tuned out his hype (at least Lonzo has). It's just Dad being Dad.

The only way the Lakers are in the high lottery in 2020 is if they miss out in free agency for another two years, miss the playoffs and pull off a hail-mary in the lottery.

Neither team has shown that they're anything but a lottery team at this point. Even with the injuries, I feel better about the 76ers' chances than I do about the Lakers'. But like I said -- who knows.

Anytime I hear HIGH ankle sprain I get concerned.

I still think the Sixers will be a playoff team in the East, but it does depend on guys being healthy and that's a big if with the Sixers.

I'm not backing off my predictions. Just stating a simple fact -- no one knows the future. I don't see any reason to believe that the Lakers have dramatically improved their team. They should have a top 10 pick again this year and possibly going forward. They need their young guys to improve and they need to sign a very good free agent (or two).

...and was largely ignored in favor of the Tatum hype machine. I guess getting matched by a late 1st rounder doesn't drive the fanbase enough?

I feel like hes gonna have to do something about that shot eventually, but great vision and passing ability.

If you noticed in last night's game, a lot of those misses were bad shots forced by the teammates dumping the ball to him late in the shot clock, bad spacing, or old fashioned good defense. He would prefer to find the open shooter over shooting.
