Very Jason Kidd-like line. That's probably who he will be similar to, nothing wrong with that.

I agree that the hype is out of control, but that's not on Lonzo, that's on Lavar.

While I think his shot is going to need some work, his elite vision and passing ability could very well lead to him being a legit star.

People who are looking at him as a savior need to get a grip. He looks like he could be very good, but we're not talking Magic or Lebron here.

I think Jason Kidd is his ceiling and if he can at least get close to that...he'll be just fine and Lakers fans will be very happy with him.

For that matter, with what we have seen at the point over the past few years, I think many of us would be happy if he could reach Nick "1,2,3 Cancun" Van Exel level. lol

I have been adamant he has Jason Kidd written all over him or even a poor mans Kidd....that's certainly not calling him Kobe or putting him in the same sentence as LeBron.....I don't even think he has Magic level talent. And he has potential on defense being 6-6....

Yeah, he really doesn't though. He has the same problem that Tatum has. A stacked roster that will limit his minutes and his opportunity to produce.

Even if Bam and Tatum are the two best rookies in the league, guys like Fultz, Ball, and Simmons are going to play more minutes and have the ball in their hands more too.

That was an impressive triple double. He never holds the ball. That is what impresses me most. Many of the assist Kings in today's league dribble the air out of the ball until an assist opportunity comes. Ball doesn't do that.

Kidd couldn't shoot for shit his first few seasons but he was still a difference maker. Not like they are counting on Ball for a lot of offense....if he averages 10-12ppg that's just fine on this squad. Ingram may be poised for a huge improvement and we also have a center who could put up 18-20ppg....
