Where does Dallas factor in? Don't they still have a ton of cash? Is anyone actually going to offer Noel a max contract?

Teams with cap prioritize their RFA offers, because sometimes they need to wait to see if offers are matched.

A better question would be if Noel's agent is receiving offers/requests to meet with teams....

I doubt it. I know I wouldn't and I bet Dallas matches anyway

Isn't that kind of the point? If a team knows that Dallas will match the offer, make them max a player who isn't a max player.

Yeah but what if poison pill the contract and cuban decides not to match then you're stuck for 4 years with a player you don't want lol

Teams with projected cap space include Brooklyn (but only if the Otto Porter offer sheet is matched), Chicago, Indiana, LA Lakers, New York (but only if the Tim Hardaway Jr. offer sheet is matched), Orlando, Philadelphia and Sacramento

There are going to be a lot of pissed off 76ers fans if Noel ends up signing for like 4 years, 70 million.

Rudy Gay could be the steal of the free agency period.
He is exactly what SA needed, and they got him for a bag of peanuts.

Heck, they only had one small forward on the entire roster last year.
Kawahi was dominating Durant and had a 23 point road lead.....until he got Zsa Zsaed.

More importantly, SAN ANTONIO will be the only contender in the league with cap space in 2018.
All the others will be bad teams.

They did not saddle themselves with contracts.
2018 will rival 2010 in terms of elite level guys.

Rudy Gay is best friends with Demarcus Cousins after all....hmmmm

If nobody sends him a contract, then Dallas has a lot of leverage to underpay him.

I would be patient. Multiple teams that are either a) actually interested in paying him or b) sending a nice offer that forces Cuban to match
