I don't buy into that LAL/Boston hate.....I respect them as a franchise. But, I do think Miami has the odds right now. Riley is going all in on this.....but, I saw Bosh is still on the roster and counts toward the cap. How can they afford him?

The cap is 99 million and Heat are on the hook for 91 million.

Bosh is getting waived and his salary isn't on our cap anymore.

LA interested in Iggy? Why?

Same reason as Rondo would be my guess. Vet who can mentor the kids, can shoot outside or play d (in his case both) on a 1 year deal.

I understand it's a business perspective but when is enough enough and too much too much?

As soon as I have enough or too much money...I'll be sure and let you know.

I think PG and Russ will be a great fit. George seems to have a heart and grit and doesn't play like a cupcake.

LOL PG has "heart" and "grit", while Durant makes clutch shots and has a ring and an MVP and a Finals MVP

David West, per source, to re-sign for one year—will be his last—with the Warriors.

I don't think Iggy wants a 1 year deal.

He's 33. Pretty much any offer he gets is likely to be of the 1 year or 2 year variety.

Plus, the Lakers have said they are willing to pay more on a 1 year deal for these guys. So, it will likely come down to how much the Lakers will pay on a 1 year deal.

From what Magic and Pelinka both have said, I'll be surprised if they sign anyone to a deal other than a 1 year or a 2 year with team option on year 2.

Yeah, Iggy wants 3 yrs, if he would settle for 2 (let alone one) he's be staying in Oakland.

Then no Iggy. Warriors are offering 2 years I believe, but other teams are going 3

Yep. From what I read, the Lakers are looking to have enough cap space for 2 max level guys next year and plan on going big game hunting then.

That's fine. As much as I like Iggy, I'd rather the Lakers not get him than risk cap space for next year.
