He was taking pay cut after pay cut to help the team and had hoped that the Heat would compensate him like the Lakers did Kobe. He's a clown. Offered him 2 yr/40. Not sure what more he wanted us to do. Trade away young talent to please him even though he is washed now? Lol

I don't disagree with either side and I'm glad they parted ways but I'll never call Wade a clown or talk negatively of him, without him the Heat would still be searching for their first championship.

When I'm either A) Not trolling or B) I'm soberYou're such a respectful individual
All players get that though sans the rings.Factually incorrect.
Any salary he sacrificed to win rings was more then made up with commercials, endorsements that he never gets without.

Yea, I don't disagree with either side really. He should have never opted out when James and Bosh did IMO after the 2014 finals. That was not a smart decision but as Pat said, he probably should have gave him the contract he deserved then.

I meant all players throughout the league get endorsement money and commercials.Really?
Other than Wade, James, who else from the Heat got what?
Offered him every nickel we had.
It was 10M more then Wade wanted 12 months earlier.

Read my posts after that one, I think you'll understand better where I'm coming from.I disagree.
You're probably referencing to how Wade's never been the highest player on his team. I've broken it down before, but I'll say it again.
Before the Big 3, Miami paid him the max for what they could pay him. Guys like Jermaine O'Neal and Shawn Marrion made more than Wade at their respective times because they were traded for and were on contracts signed by other teams.
During the Big 3 era, LeBatard made mention that all 3 wanted a full max contract. They then realized that Riley couldn't add any other veterans to the core. They all took a pay cut so that they could add Miller. But Wade took a bit less more than the others so UD could stay on. But these guys were still making over $100 million over a 6-year period.
The problem came after Lebron left for Cleveland. Bosh and Wade both opted out, and so to forfeited their respective Bird Rights. Bosh and Wade shared the same agent, yet Bosh's agent got Bosh the max and threatened to have Bosh sign with Houston if Riley didn't pony up. Lebatard mentioned that he wanted the pie split 50/50 for Wade and Bosh; Bosh's agent thought differently (conflict of interest since he represented Wade as well). Wade got the remaining amount of the pie.
The following year, Wade signed for around $20 mil.
Wade didn't take pay cut after pay cut. Also, these guys wanted titles because it would help improve their brands over the long term. Wade has benefited from being in the Finals. Do you think Lebron's brand is worth what it is if he's still ringless?
I appreciate Wade being on the Heat when he was, and I won't trash him for leaving for more money. But after this last year in his contract, he'll have made over $200 million in his NBA salary alone. You'll have to forgive me if I'm not exactly considering him the most selfless individual.

Good post tho bud.
Only a few more months until college football starts and either A) We hate UF together and remain friends or B) We hate each other and I tell you every week that Miami sucks donkey dick.
Hopefully they lose to LSU in the college world series. It better be A. I don't think this board will like the fall out.
Besides, it's not hard to hate UF. I seriously dislike FSU. I have a strong disdain for Florida - to the point that's it uncomfortable.
They will need to attach an asset. So, yep.
But, I would not do it until next Summer.
If Lebron or George aren't coming, no need to sacrifice Randle.
They can match any deal he gets next Summer if they need to.
