What's a max look like for him?

20-25 mil?
I would definitely not want the Kings to give him $25mil per year. $20mil might be too much, he needs to stay healthy. But he's young with upside so he'll get paid a lot. I like the idea of the Kings adding one of the top young FA's and a lottery pick, but they have to make the right choice on both. At least one of them has to be a SF.

@Mecca @LAD

A little ladies b-ball news!

Whalen to coach Gophers and play for Lynx

Great hire for the Lady Gophers! I think it's a great opportunity for her as she transitions from playing, considering she'll have Cheryl Reeve here in town as a mentor. :yahoo:

GO LYNX! :yahoo: :heh:

If you are going for a 3 in the draft, Porter or Mikal are your guys.

I kinda like the kid from Ohio State, Bates-Diop.

But, I wouldn't take him until the 20's.

Ditto for Hutchinson, Boise State.

Some mocks have Knox listed as a 3.

When he puts on weight, do you see that as his long-term position?

Whaaaa???? What tampering?
She's gonna be coaching some draft eligible players...lol

Dude, I'm just hating.

You guys don't even need to try and get an advantage.

The Lynx are stacked.

Ahhhh... I get it.

It will be an interesting experiment, especially from a recruiting standpoint.

as for stacked??? They're a year older!!! I also haven't looked at offseason movements, but I think they lost a key piece or 2...

I like Diop and Hutchison too but they'd have to be mid-late 1st or early 2nd round picks. Maybe the Kings draft Hutchison with their 2nd round pick if he's there. Knox I see as a 3, but their pick isn't in his range imo. You could throw Miles Bridges in the mix for the Kings too, wouldn't be surprised if they draft him especially if MPJ is gone by their pick. If they sign a high priced wing in FA then the pick could be a center instead.

You mean like the Olympics or All NBA?

I don't think he's that many cheeseburgers away from a camp invite to the former.

How much longer are guys like Melo, LeBron, Durant, Dray gonna want to keep participating?

But, he's gonna be a minute for the latter because of the wealth of talent at his position.

Talking about the other Ingram, 10 year G-League old man.

Maybe he can make a squad and stick as the 12-13th man.

I actually like Bates-Diop a lot too....id actually be a little surprised if he makes it to the twenties....im kind of thinking late teens for him...he has a lot of upside and SF is a position everyone is pretty much always looking for---versatile wing players.

Yeah, you could be right about him going higher.

I think he's being projected a bit low because of his age.

When workouts start, guys value will rise and fall.

But, I have seen him on mocks going anywhere from the Jazz to the Warriors.

One even had him in the 2nd round to the Knicks, which would be a ridiculous value.

He's been invited to throw out the first pitch at the Dodgers game.

Good for him.

I'm sorry what? I was blinded by the bling! :dhd:
I didn't know WNBA gave out Championship Rings that look like that.

Maybe those are crystals instead of diamonds...lol

I wonder what their offer was.

But, this is encouraging for the Kings....

Parker: “The team has to be professional about it, right? They have to understand their strengths and weaknesses. As far as Milwaukee goes, it’s not like a huge target for free agents and I was willing to take that into consideration because it’s home to me, I turned it into home. When it comes to a player like myself, I wasn’t desiring the max (contract). I just wanted security, that’s all I wanted. But then I get an offer that was not what I wanted, it was not fair.”

Fifer: “ESPN reported months back that they offered you three (years) and $54 (million), which is like $18 million a year.”

Parker: “Shoot, I wish. ... Now you know.”

Bucks' Jabari Parker on reported contract offer: 'I wish'
