I was hoping no one would notice that the Warriors are playing bad. I wonder if anyone else has mentioned it. Is there a thread to discuss and bitch about the Warriors yet?
Yeah, take the L Train to Troll Blvd and head West to Fantasy Island.

Tell em your looking for this guy.

Change of scenary can do wonders. Especially without daddy Bron looking down on him.

Yeah playing w/ LeBron was really holding Kyrie back. Well all remember those playoff appearances he led the Cavs to as the man. And now he's trying to brainwash his current Celtics teammates that the Earth is flat!:L

Will Steph, Klay, Durant, Green all be gone by then?

Cause if any 3 of them remain, not even then.

They own the Clippers.

At this point, Blake should be calling Draymond daddy.

It's honestly kind of amazing how much Draymond has completely dominated their matchup. It's almost comical. I'm trying to think of another star player who held over another star completely like that. Maybe Hakeem v. David Robinson (although those guys are on another level than Draymond and Griffin).

Anyone else got any suggestions?

Nick Anderson and the Free throw line was the only thing worse than the Blake/Green mental midgetry.

LOL.

Lebron can both prop you up and put you into a limited role. Just depends on how you affect the team. He no doubt propped up guys like Mike Miller and James Jones but that was because of Lebron's individual skill. With Kyrie, he limited his offensive potential and play making ability because the ball is always (and rightfully so) in Lebron's hands. He's also limited Love, who previous to the Cavs was a consensus top 10 player in the NBA with the T-Wolves. It's all about fit.

Kyrie needed Lebron to figure out how to harness his ability. But he also needed to break away from Lebron to fully utilize it. There's no point in learning how to be a play making PG, without being able to actually be one.

Does anyone outside of Philadelphia notice T.J. McConnell? Last year, he showcased some skill due to the fact that the 76ers had no point guards. He quickly became a fan favorite. He was even mentioned in some trade rumors as a possible target for the Cavaliers.

This year, he's having the best season of his career so far. Career highs in FG%, 3-point attempt rate, 3P%, WS/48. 107 offensive rating, 105 defensive rating. Positive DBPM and BPM.

He went undrafted in 2015. Seems like he is carving out a pretty nice niche for himself.

Kyrie had the opportunity for 3 years prior to LeBron returning to learn how to be a play making PG. He's a talented offensive player no doubt but when you say a play making PG I think of a PG w/ high assist totals. Kyrie never averaged more than 6.1 apg for a season. Him going to Boston isn't gonna change his offensive mind set. I think he'll always be a shoot 1st PG. Which is fine, that's his game.

He's a good backup.

Yeah I probably used the wrong terminology. What I meant by playmaking, is making your teammates better. Pre-Lebron Kyrie did not make his teammates better. He simply got buckets. I don't mean he's a facilitating PG, but more so a PG who knows his strengths, is efficient and puts his teammates in a better position to succeed. Celtics Kyrie is a night and day difference from Pre-Lebron Kyrie.

Curry is not an elite assist guy, but he makes his teammates better because of how he affects the game and what he does on the court. Kyrie could be in a similar mold only with getting to the basket and finishing his version of Steph's shooting distance. They both make a defense alter it's plans.

He kind of reminds me of Steve Blake. Not really flashy, can be serviceable as a backup though. He'll have to prove his 3 point shot is legit though.

Kyrie has a great opportunity this season w/ the GH injury to prove to the league he's the player he thinks he is. To be a truly great player you have to do more than just fill up the stat sheets. He needs playoff success on his own for starters.

How do you think they carve out time for Bam in the future? Olynyk, Johnson and Whiteside all seem to be blocking him from getting minutes in the near future. Think someone gets moved or you think the Heat will just take it slow with Bam?

I could see Olynk or Johnson eventually being moved. If I was the coach though, I would just Olynyk as the backup PF and Bam as the backup C but I know Spo won't do that.
