But, I was saying all summer that the Nets would still be terrible. If they keep winning that would make me wrong.

It's early but yep. The Nets aren't going to be as bad as the Suns, Bulls, Hawks, Knicks, Mavs, Kings, or the 76ers......the Sixers have been horrid for a team loaded with young talent. And maybe even the Pacers, but they have been competitive so far.

That's why I said maybe.....not for sure. The Sixers haven't looked good at all....totally mind boggling for a team so loaded with talent. Might be a coaching issue.

I mean they haven't looked bad either. They had a rough schedule. Outside of Toronto when embiid didn't play, i don't think they looked bad. They went toe to toe with the wizards for about 45 minutes. Absolutely choked a game they should have won vs a good Houston team

That could have gone really badly. I wanted to echo @Mecca kudos on how you resolved this.

Not sure how old you are, but there was a huge ordeal in the mid 90s when CBS basketball announcer Billy Packer called AI a "tough monkey". But yeah, in the past the monkey reference was intentionally used as a knock on the intelligence of black people. I don't think Packer used it intentionally and I am sure you didn't either.

Now, if everyone else in our country can come down from the ledge and listen to the other side's perspective, we might actually make some progress!

Simmons, Redick, Fultz.



Redick, Fultz, Johnson, Anderson* trade deadline * all added in 2017.

Simmons played zero games, Embiid played 31 games, Bayless played 3 games last year.

Not to mention they have the 4th youngest roster.

Exactly why I wasn't on the Philly could be a sleeper team in the offe-season. Mainly, the youth thing.

Still think they win 30-33 games but being a playoff team? Even in the EC? I doubt it.

Early but the Magic have surprised me greatly....but looking at the roster they have some potential. May be headed in the right direction.

Augustin's got talent and I've always liked him since he played well in Chicago I think it was.

Gordon had a crazy 40 point game and might be ready to take the next step.And Fournier has been excellent. Vucevic is a beast.

Payton is hurt so that sucks.....but Simmons was a solid addition.
