I don't want to be insensitive by talking about this further.

It's early but yep. The Nets aren't going to be as bad as the Suns, Bulls, Hawks, Knicks, Mavs, Kings, or the 76ers......the Sixers have been horrid for a team loaded with young talent. And maybe even the Pacers, but they have been competitive so far.

They have been much better than I thought so far.

But...

5 of their first 6 games have been against Indiana, Orlando, Atlanta, and New York. Looking at their schedule for the rest of the month, they could play fairly well and go 2-12 and there is really only 1 game in that stretch that they should win.

Also, they won 4 of their first 9 last season, so I am not ready to admit defeat on this quite yet. Let's see how this plays out.
