I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that it was unintentional.

But, with the things that are going on is this Country, I understand why she would be offended.

Not seeing how calling someone a baboon is racist. I've heard parents call their kids baboons ever since I was a kid and my parents called me and my friends a bunch of baboons.

It's a way of saying blacks are sub-human, less than, inferior.

Dehumanization is the closest word I can think of.
