The day after The Players’ Tribune posted a video highlighting Gordon Hayward’s rehab from a fractured ankle, Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens offered his most definitive comments of the year by saying that Hayward will not play again during the 2017-18 season. “He’s not playing this year. I don’t know what else to say,” said Stevens, who has fielded an increased amount of questions about Hayward’s progress in recent weeks.

Bummer. What could have been this season if he hadn't been injured... ?

Oh well, hopefully the gang can stay healthy next year and beyond.

Kuzma and Nance are almost nothing alike. Kuzma stretches the floor and Nance is a blue collar energy guy who gets most of his points at the rim.

Having watched every single Lakers game. I disagree. Kuzma is essentially Nance with a 3 point shot. They are both athletic, energy guys who defend, get rebounds and can finish at the rim. The ability to stretch the floor is mainly what makes Kuzma the better player and why the Lakers traded Nance instead of Kuzma.

I honestly think there are more legit superstars today than perhaps ever before.

Magic, Bird, 'Nique, Kareem, Worthy, McHale, Dr. J, Moses, MJ and Sir Charles (to name a few) all say from the 80's.

Yeah, for me, the Raptors are the Eastern Conferences version of the Rockets. They might be the best team in the conference...but until they start actually showing up in the playoffs, I'm not buying in.

East playoffs picture is not as crazy as the west but it is getting crazy with the struggles of the Cavs.

1.5 games now separates 3rd through 6 and only 1 game in the loss column

Cleveland drops to 4-4 since the roster overhaul.....and 2 of those wins came against Memphis and Brooklyn.

Kevin Love has not been so important since leaving Minnesota.
