These guys are legit.

Sadly a few people on here won't give them respect because of their performance a few years ago.
It's not just the sweep that makes people side eye the Raps.

The Raptors have won 50 plus games the last 3 years , got to the playoffs and were snuffed out by guess who?

The Cavs.

When Lowry shows he won't crawl into the fetal position, and actually give Demar some help when it counts, maybe they get over the bump.

Toronto aren't getting the respect they deserve. Best record in the East, 3rd in the league behind GS and Houston. Top 10 in both defense and offense.

They may be a legit threat to make the Finals.
Lmfao...

Boston finished top 4 last year behind the Spurs, Warriors, Rockets.

Did not end well.

This is true but its ok. Raps have a chip this year and have to prove its real.

You guys have balance.

But, somebody besides Derozan has to step it up in the playoffs.

Lowry is gonna have to score more than 16 ppg, and Ibaka more than the 13 they are giving in the regular season.

CJ looks like he is ready for the moment.

No.

But he is really damn good.
Who are the Superstars?

Curry, LeBron, Durant?

Are we putting Harden, Davis in there or the next tier lower?

What in the hell do we do with Giannis?

I put Demar in the same category as Kyrie, Cp3, Lillard, Westbrook...

So, I'd say he's a bona fide Star...just not in that top Megastar tier.

Agreed.

Hard not to place Harden ahead of Curry now. Curry is a superstar too, but Harden for sure, IMO. Davis I think has to be there too. He is single handledly carrying the Pelicans.

Gets tougher with Giannis and Russ. Wouldn't argue against either.

I honestly think there are more legit superstars today than perhaps ever before. There are so many great players in the league right now.

Dirty player. He clearly did it on purpose.

I wonder what Kyrie and Russ have to say about that Zaza play on Curry. The league must look into this.

People really buying the Raptors hype this year. Seems like a consistent theme. Strange times.

I must admit they have a much better overall team this year. I like Vanvleet, Miles, and Poelti off their bench.

Key will be Lowry and if he disappears as usual

I buy into them having a team good enough to reach the NBA finals and being better now than they've been in recent years, but I wouldn't feel confident saying they'll beat the Cavs in a 7 game series.

That's it for me. Countless times I've seen this guy shrink during the playoffs. If your star players have a penchant for coming up small during the most important moments, it's more than likely going to occur again.
