I don't want to pat my own back because I've been wrong about plenty of prospects but I was mystified that he fell into the 2nd round. Anyone who watched him in college knew he could ball. No one expected him to be as good as he is but I don't think anyone is surprised he became a valuable player at the NBA level. If memory serves me well, he was projected to go mid-to-late 1st and then slid for some unknown reason.

People slept on him because he was " undersized ".

Position-less basketball still wasn't being embraced fully until the death lineup started executing fools on the regular.
