Grizzlies seeking first-rounder for Evans

Evans does not fit the Wizards at all. Beal and Wall both need the ball. So does Evans. The need 3 and D guys. Evans is like the exact opposite of that.

If they acquired him, my fear is that it would actually cut into Otto Porter's minutes which would be a tragedy.

Tyreke Evans is one of my least favorite players in the NBA. In case you couldn't tell. I hate how he plays. He can put up numbers for sure, but when has he ever contributed for any team who wasn't a bottom feeder?

What Carlisle said is out of line and they should defend one of their own in Jeff Goodman for doing his job.

Acting as if Lavar Ball is a credible source and continuing to give him a platform is also dumb. It's not Goodman's fault. He obviously was sent there by ESPN to cover the Balls.

Disagree. Carlisle was talking about using credible sources, not siding with coaches. If the coaches want to join together and not talk to certain reporters that's fine. That's their right. Coaches have refused to talk to/grant access to individual reporters for as long as sports journalism has existed.

Now, if the NBA itself stepped in and banned those reporters that cover Lavar...that would be wrong.

Yep. I'd imagine there's a large contingent of ESPN employees that are getting tired of the Ball family. I remember Scott Van Pelt actually went on his show months back and publicly questioned why anyone was giving this guy the time of day.
