@Mecca Thank you and your clippers for not screwing me out of my parlay bet last night. I didn't know Blake wasn't playing but still, they made it too close for comfort.

Lamelo Ball is all the worst parts of White Chocolate.

But, if he at least tried to play team ball, Dude has a chance.

Those 3's though.

C'mon

Robot.

Unathletic, Robot.

Missed several layups at the rim.

Got most of his points by pinning the 16 year that was guarding him 10 feet from the rim.

Very Melo-ish post play.

Carmelo-ish.

Has a decent turnaround jumper.

The younger one...

Vision, nice passing,,,

But, many times he didnt even cross halfcourt on defense and tries to make a steal every play.

He honest to God took like 3 three pointers from half court and two others 5 feet behind the line....and missed badly.

LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball make Lithuanian basketball debut: 6 strangest takeaways

Grown men were playing against children
This wasn't exactly an even matchup. The Ball brothers' team, Vytautas, is mostly comprised of players in their 20s and 30s -- like a normal professional basketball team. The team they were playing, Zalgiris-2, is actually a junior team comprised of 16- and 17-year-olds. The announcers were quick to point out that some of the players on Zalgiris were actually younger than LaMelo.

So it was basically like a G League team playing against a high school team. Weird.

Dude pulled them out of High School and College to play a Euro AAU Team.

I will say, Lamelo has that spark.

But, he is utterly selfish.

Liangelo can't get his own shot to save his life.

If Melo wasn't on the squad to create for him, Dude would have finished with about 6 pts.

'Melo is still just what, 16?

Yep.

He could get to the rim anytime he wanted to.

Sadly, he wanted to launch from half court most of the time.

Kid dropped 9 dimes.

Could have been more if his bro wasn't missing bunnies.

He will be better than Lonzo if he stops doing dumb shit.

4 of those to's was from doing that same shit Milos, Lonzo and Kevin Love do by throwing the ball length of the floor.

Those Dudes weren't ready for that.

IN true soap opera style drama ESPN has been defending Lavar Ball today and skewering the Walton and other coaches that came. To Walton's defense. I agree that they have the right to report what Larvar... says, but fortunately I do not have to listen to their crap

Defending him how? I haven't seen anyone defend Lavar and say Walton should be fired.

What Carlisle said is out of line and they should defend one of their own in Jeff Goodman for doing his job.

This is actually a very true statement by Goodman.

“To me, I understand thinking that LaVar is a buffoon, and that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Goodman said. “But I’ve seen it a lot with college basketball and NBA coaches. They always protect their own. Do they have any more knowledge of the Lakers situation, and whether Walton has lost that team, than LaVar does? The answer is no … LaVar could be dead on, we don’t know that.”

100% agree. Carlisle is out of line. ESPN shouldn't have to cater to the coaches. If they wanted to publish articles where they interviewed fans off the street about what they think of the Lakers, that's their prerogative. But it's also your choice not to read that type of bullshit lazy writing too.

I've pretty much ignored most Lavar related articles because they're all the same. There's no depth to anything he says. If you ignore it, the media will follow. They go where the clicks are.

Jeff Goodman is one of the best at what he do.

Killing a guy who doing his job is just dumb.

Do you think it was his brilliant idea to go to Lithuania and follow Lavar and his 2 kids around?
