Russell told Kyrie yesterday that he's back in 2 weeks.

Should be at 17-19 wins at the end of this month IMO

Good. They can start losing again when he returns.

I am 98% sure he makes them worse.

As I understand it though, the Lakers could buy out the Deng contract and then the entire buy out would count towards this year and obviously they would end up paying some luxary tax, but they would wipe out that amount next year. Lakers on Lakernation have hinted they are confident that they can trade the Clarkson contract and Randle - then they will have plenty.

Randle is a RFA.

Better than most people on here thought. That Nets draft pick isn't going to be as valuable as a lot of people thought.

Yeah I thought the same. Thought they would approach 30 wins. Right now I'm guessing they would land between 29-32 wins which probably lands them between 6-9 in the draft order.

With the way the Bulls, Mavs, and Suns have been playing, I'm actually feeling a bit better about the Nets pick these days. Only the Hawks and Magic seem comfortably worse.

Hawks Magic

Nets Hornets Mavs Suns Kings

Lakers Bulls Grizz

West and East seem almost like a mirror of each other right now.

Each conference has 3 contenders, 7 mediocre teams fighting for the playoffs, and 5 teams chasing the lottery balls.

Ehhh I disagree.

I still think teams like the Suns & Kings are going to start tanking hard after the AS break.

My guess is at the end of the year, the Nets will have a better record than Atlanta, Orlando, Phoenix, Dallas, & the Kings for sure.

Bulls, Lakers, & Grizz will be close.

Because he sucks?

If you can't stretch the floor and you suck defensively, you can't play in today's NBA. There is no need for low post scorers who can't defend.

*Looking over the rosters of NBA teams and fails to see stretch 5's on every team*

Guessing you missed the "suck defensively" part of t-lance post lol.

Most guys who can't stretch the floor are pretty good defensively.

See Whiteside, Adams, Jordan, and Drummond

Why are the Lakers as bad as they are? They have enough talent to be better than the 2nd worst record in basketball.
