Hell, you couldn't get the Lakers to play good on a back to back - when they had a team. I actually think this Lakers team has done better this year on that - but when the back to back is set up like that they are going to be tough to win - that is a situation where they should have activated Deng and let him play reallyI expected the team to get blown out in Minnesota. You can't expect an inexperienced team to play a double overtime game one day, travel 1200 miles overnight and then come out on top the next day.
The Lakers will be just fine and surpass the 30 win mark no problem.
I don't know about that. Still think it will be a battle for them to reach 30.
They're currently 11-25 which is a win % of about 30.
They would have to increase that win % to about 41 to hit 30 wins.
Will be close IMO
They've also just come off the hardest 10 game schedule in the NBA since 2011. With three starters out.
It can only go up from here.
I guess. I just think it can go either way. Wouldn't be surprised if they finished with 27/28 wins or 31/32 wins.
Need to go 19-27 from this point on.
BTW last year (I understand the tanking aspect about last season), they were 12-24 through 36 games and only finished with 26 wins.
They have a pretty soft 7 game stretch upcoming. Will be interesting how that goes
Magic and Rob wanted the team to play competitive, fun basketball which in all honesty they've been doing. I can only think of three losses where they've played terrible from the start and had no hope of coming back.
Simple things like turnovers and free throws have cost them at least 6-8 games which they could have easily won.
That's the important part - the only reason they are losing is because they are making typical rookie mistakes where they simply have learned how to win the games the way experienced players do. In one game, Kyle Kuzma took the lost shot and missed - He did a good of knowing how to take it and trying - but had never done it in his career - Once he has been in the NBA a year or two - it will come naturallyMagic and Rob wanted the team to play competitive, fun basketball which in all honesty they've been doing. Good luck to your Saints, @bksballer89.....selected them in my weekly pick 'ems on the website I blog for. They better fucking win. I think they will by a FG.
The Bengals kept Marv......unreal.
seriously...???
thought he was ready to step...
They should but the playoffs are unpredictable especially when 2 teams are on the same level as the saints & panthers
I feel ya...
I think the Chiefs should win this Saturday, but i ain't betting the house on it...
