I'm not sure Hoyer would be better than Moore. Kaep would cost too much. I like McCown, but it would be a new system. Moore, with another year of mastering the offense seems like as good an option as there is. Who would you like to see them go after?

You've got a lot higher opinion of Hoyer than I do. He had the best defense in the league last year and a stud receiver to throw to, and he still belly flopped when it mattered. By the time Moore got a chance, if the team hadn't quit, they were just playing out the string, at best

Hey, nothing wrong with that...that's what us fans do. :suds:
Shoot...I actually think K. Moore won't be half bad next year for 3 maybe 4 games should what the SportsHoopla redskin fans think will happen next season with Romo. :hope:
I try to be optimistic as the next guy, but I don't see Moore as half full, all I see is dried milk residue.

I don't know how they stack up against each other. But for argument sake, we could try to compare Hoyer and Weeden and then Weeden to Moore. Since both Hoyer and Weeden played on the same Houston team, which one did better out of those two? If Hoyer compares favorably to Weeden, then I'd rather take Hoyer over Moore. If Weeden clearly outplayed Hoyer, then it doesn't really matter which one we have. At that point sign the cheapest bum and hope Dak can beat them in camp.

really....what exactly did you see last year that makes you so sure?
The guy wasn't drafted cause of arm strength and measurables. what else makes you say zero optimism for 3 to 4 games?

you know...it's more than stats and we are talking about a stop gap player and all... but he impressed me, but that may be in large part to watching the other two so called prospects b4 he got to play. I would think it's rather easy to play wide eyed, Moore showed none of that and made sound decisions with the football for the most part.

Horrible accuracy. He had a chance and was horrible. Yes he could improve but probably not enough and why keep him around to hope he some day can be an average backup? We all talk about upgrading the roster and competition and we want to run him out there again? He may stick around and we may win games with him playing, but it likely will be in spite of him. Are we looking to improve on 4 wins or are we looking to make the playoffs and advance?

My opinion is Hoyer is much better than Moore. That doesn't mean I think he is good. I think he is better tha nMoore and Sanchez and those are teh two topics I've spoken about him within. I'm not sure if you watched Hou or not but he played very well. Yeah he shit the bed when it mattered most but they don't get their without him and I totally disagree that he had a better hand to play than Moore. We had a much better OL, better running game and better overall receivers even if Dez wasn't 100% and Hopkins was. Moore was in a much better spot. He was the worst of our 3 QBs last year

Simply because like Tebow I don't see him as a NFL QB, and thus far in limited play he hasn't changed my mind.

that's cool, it was you that pissed on my opinion on they guy. Thought you'd have more
I think the guy has moxie and a solid understanding of the offense and football in general. Not sure Tebow fits that description but he could run the Florida offense

I agree with you. He was a weak arm, no doubt, but he has some moxie. Reminds me a little of Jeff Garcia, obviously not as mobile, and he can't make all the throws Romo can, but I think he could develop into a guy who could navigate 3-4 games

we've known each other thru a message board a long time. You should know I don't really care much about what others have to say about me. I've always thought it more about the football statements, disagreements and defending a point of view. I've said often over the years and truly believe that I've fielded a whole lot more insults than I've given. I think it was easy to see a tag team play two years ago and I accept how that all went down. I don't care for agenda's or a buddy system when talking sports and it remains all about the entertainment for me.

Yes we've known each other a long time, I have no issues with you, and I think you know it. Most of our thoughts are along the same line. I say are biggest difference is DLine vs. DBacks.

2016 NFL season over/under win total picks for NFC: Bury the Eagles
By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

May 7, 2016 12:45 pm ET

The NFL Draft has come and gone, which means it's the best season of the year: over/under season. We have win totals released for each and every NFL team, courtesy of Sportsbook.ag, and you can place a friendly wager on whether you think the teams will win more or less games than their perceived Las Vegas total.

Every year I break these down in May trying to predict how many wins every NFL team will have. Totally easy situation, but my favorite thing I write all season maybe.

Last year I went a very underwhelming 7-8-1 in the NFC, although my two locks (Vikings over and Cardinals over) both hit. Leave your picks in the comments, yell at me for my picks on Twitter @WillBrinson and please denote locks are hit with the triple ***. You can find my over/under picks for the AFC here.

Take the under on Philly. (USATSI)

Dallas Cowboys 9.5 Over (+105) / Under (-135) — You want to talk about a guy getting suckered by the Cowboys' first-round pick of Ezekiel Elliott? This is your guy. Combine Zeke, Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden and you're going to get a dominant running game for Dallas in 2016. Elliott will make Tony Romo better because he'll keep him healthy, and he'll make the defense better because he will limit time of possession (the jury is still out on science but it worked two years ago). A lower number would be a lock but this team will be closer to 2014 than it was last year.

VERDICT: OVER

New York Giants 8.0 Over (-140) / Under (+110) — Everyone is buying into the Giants big time after their massive offseason, and it's not hard to understand why. Janoris Jenkins and Olivier Vernon are big headline-grabbing talents. Eli Apple's mom is amazing. Odell Beckham is going to be amazing again. Eli Manning should have some protection. This is a team that's better than it was after spending tons of capital, a change from Tom Coughlin's final years. But sometimes I like to zag and I think this is a secretly questionable team — if they were the Dolphins people would be crushing them.

VERDICT: UNDER

Philadelphia Eagles 7.5 Over (+130) / Under (-160) — The Sam Bradford issue looms large. The hypothetical situation where Bradford refuses to play or retires and Chase Daniel has to start and then Carson Wentz has to start ... It's a scary situation. It's also a major red flag to see this price where it's at — the reality is this thing could crash and burn. Wait until the number drops (at -160, it seems likely to eventually move down to 7.0 wins) and then take the under.

VERDICT: UNDER

Washington Redskins 7.5 Over (-115) / Under (-115) — The only reason to not jump on this team is because the Redskins' history says they won't be consistent. But Scot McCloughan's past tells us he can pull off back-to-back years of quality performance. The running back situation (Matt Jones/Chris Thompson/Keith Marshall) is questionable, and Kirk Cousins won't do what he did last year, even with the addition of Josh Doctson. The defense is secretly tough. They should be the real favorite to win this division given how the team is built.

VERDICT: OVER

Moore can't make all the throws and his weak arm will cause ints. id rather he not be on the team because he is easily game planned against. He literally offers nothing and a vet would be better. Why waste time grooming trash. Let's not pretend he's a seasoned vet in this offense
How many years has he been playing ? He has no upside and I wouldn't be suprised if dak out performs him.

Looking at the DL we didn't do as much this offseason as a lot of us hoped. But, I think we do have a chance to be better there. I admit I didn't know much about either draft pick, but I really like what I've heard about them and we did address beefing up the 3 tech and DE if they work out. Add to that we brought in 2 FAs (even if more rotation guys) and I think once the dopes come back we could be good. We will move on from guys like Hayden that basically ensure mediocrity which is addition by subtraction. And the guy I've been waiting for, T McClain, will be gone too if he can't stay healthy. But we could easily have an 8 man rotation on the DL this year. Then Irving should still improve and even Gregory is kind of like adding a guy because he didn't really play much.

Secondary of course is a big worry and hopefully Jones progresses a lot in year 2 and Scandrick is healthy. If so when compared to week 1 last year it basically moves everyone back one spot. So obviously Carr and Claiborne are a horrible #1 and #2, but if you drop them back to #2 and #3 and give them better safety help behind them it's much better than last year. Same at safety. Instead of Church and Wilcox, you have Church or Wilcox.

IMO all the LBs need is health. Lee will be fantastic if he plays the whole year and McClain I think will be more the guy from 2014 than 2015. Then while we wait for Smith we have probably Hitchens starting and a bunch of other guys to fight for PT. So again, if you have that health you are only playing Wilson, Wilbur, Gachkar, etc if they earn the PT...not because everyone is hurt.

So we didn't add Ramsey and then a pass Rusher in round 2, but we should be better and like it or not Garrett teams are going to prioritize Offense over Defense. So we don't need to be the '85 Bears, just the 2014 Cowboys...
