His interviews are usually things that make BoB look like a pessimist, but Marty is interviewing Duffy tomorrow AM. Duffy apparently wants to love on the fans for all their love and support they have shown him since the trade.

This kid really is something special. I hope his clubhouse subtraction will not be a problem. Apparently the players were upset to hear that he was traded.

So all this losing is Duffy's fault? Whiteside will be relieved.

Too bad. He had a golden opportunity in Anaheim. They were so desperate for starters that had he posted a WHIP around 1.500 and an ERA around 5.00 they probably would have started him to the end of the season. However, even bad teams aren't going to long tolerate numbers like his.

I read that Sciosca hopes he accepts his assignment to AAA. I do wonder if he will just hang it up instead of a trip to the minors or latch on with another team's bullpen.

A-Rod's getting a bum rap in his sendoff. He deserves better. He was the original Mike Trout once.

As I understand the article's point, A-Rod was a spectacular player by every measure. It was just that he kept pointing that out to everyone. Wonder how many HR he would have hit without the PED's.

I couldn't get in this morning around 7:00 a.m. (Pacific) with the report of a server error. All seems fine now.
