Yes, because otherwise they need to expose a decent reliever to waivers (unless they want to send down our best reliever, who has options).
Osich didn't look that great in Richmond and just moved to Sacramento, so he has some time. I was about to say I wouldn't be surprised if Law goes down for a few days but he would have to sit in Sac for 10 days and that seems too long for their best reliever.

With the way we're going, why not send down Law, and find our best hitter and send them down, too. Won't make much of a difference with the way these jokers are playing and being managed. Man, yesterday's loss really hurt. Coughing up a 7-1 lead?!? Ugh.

No, he was in the Peavy trade. Sorry, it was meant in the general context of bringing back pitchers who had been previously traded away.
