I have not done any studies of Duvalls batting this year, but let's not get carried away. GAB is Coors-East...

Well, there's bad news and more bad news.

His .920 ops is comprised of .973 at GAB and a solid .873 on the road. He leads the league in SLG.

And here's the worst news, really. He has a 0.7 dWAR. Yes, positive. Playing LF almost exclusively.

I didnt even know he was available.

He is pretty much just a poor-mans Blanco, though. I would rather see McParker get more looks.
they will get looks. If they keep Norf in AAA, that'd be a good thing.

So the Marlins just traded for Fernando Rodney. The scary part is what they gave up.

Chris Paddack. Not familiar with the name is totally fine. The Marlins have a pretty weak farm system, but this guy has stood out. Hank speculated that this is there equivalent to Phil Bickford. I kinda have to agree. The Giants have a deeper system and may not have had to part with Bickford in a deal, but this is the going rate right now. For a 39 year old reliever.

Trading for a guy in late June comes with a huge premium, though. Buying now is the equivalent of using the "Buy it Now" button...

Also...

I am also completely ignorant about this Paddock kid, but to compare him to Bickford?

Bickford is a two-time first-round pick who has pitched 71 innings this year.

Paddock was an 8th rounder who has thrown a total of 28 IP this year.

This early in a career, pedigree counts.
