Button was a big reason that Rask was traded for Raycroft.

He was convinced that Raycroft would return to his Calder Trophy form. Him and (goalie coach) Steve McKichan were the guys that sold Fergy Jr. on the deal.

Not his first goalie screw-up either as the Flames fans here might recall (Giguere and Turek, plus didn't he think that Brathwaite could be a starter?)
