Good move by Sather. The Rangers are built to win now after getting defenseman Keith Yandle from Coyotes. They are clearly better today than they were yesterday. And yesterday they were already pretty damn good. DuClair is no guarantee, although he flashes great promise. Sather has been able to offset some of these losses with pickups like Kevin Hayes, who has been tremendous. Also Daily News reports they are back at the table with Zuccarello and nearing a deal, it's a good day for Rangers fans.

Don't think we've seen the last of Tampa today.

Any idea if that first rounder was theirs or NYR's? Maybe a conditional "whichever comes later"?

McDavid protected. If by some crazy chance the Bolts miss the playoffs and win the lottery, the Flyers get the NYR pick instead.

Flyers fleeced Tampa! Never thought they would get that much for Braydon Coburn

Radko Gudas is a bad dude and he will be a real good asset for the blueline, and those first and third round picks will be great

Please make more moves today Flyers

Good move by Tampa to get a couple of picks for Connolly to help offset what they were giving up for Coburn.

Still too much for Coburn, IMO.

How the hell does that work?

And what's the point? Why would Flyers take him? And why would LAK give him up since they've got no cap hit from him anyhow? And it's not like LAK can't afford the cash.

I think the Kings are trading him because they know he's not getting charged and he'd end up back on the roster

Philly's even tighter against the cap than LA though, so still not sure on the why.

LA just looking to get him out of the room so he's not a distraction down the stretch maybe?

It has to be conditional if he can ever play again.
Making up the next part: a first if he can play, future consideration if he can not play.

The cap hit actually matters if Voynov is NOT convicted , the Kings would be over the cap and have to expose players to waivers
