Get your shots in on the Lakers now.
Here's what I think is going to happen.
Durant signs a 1 yr max next year to set himself up
for the supermax in '17.
That puts him on the same contract schedule as Westbrook.
In '17 they both go to Lakers.
i think you should immediately check if their is a gas leak in your general vicinity

Wiggy hyping up Rio after shitting on him the last year. Wiggy is one of those losers who will shit on every Heat player then when they go to another team he would act like they're the best thing since slice bread
im not hyping him up- i just said that he has played well lately- including that game winner the other night- and its just yet another example of Arison being El Cheapo....they are trying to get rid of Anderson too even though the big man depth is atrociously bad. yet again- El Cheapo.

i think Chalmers absoluely sucks and Delly is 10 times better- but i am not going to say the sky is red when the sky is blue- the guy has played solidly for the Grizz.

all though maybe i am just really bitter and biased...maybe Arison spending big bucks on Gerald Green, Amare Stoudemire, trading Chalmers, bringing back Haslem, were genius moves not made out of concern for the bottom line- but concern for the talent on the team...i mean we can all see how well these guys are playing. Getting a credible big man and spending on it would have just been a waste right? Man- i cant believe i was so stupid!!! lol.

The heat don't use their bench big men and they have far too many You're an idiot if you think trading Birdman or one of the other bench bigs for another perimeter player is a bad move. Do you know how many games birdman played this year? Please stick to talking about the Cavs. Its not being El Cheapo. It is called improving your team. I can guarantee you that every single heat fan and national/local reporters would all approve or any deal they make where they trade a bench big for a perimeter plaer

I mean- why spend your mid level exception when you have Amare Stoudemire, Haslem and Chris Anderson coming off the bench?

A guy like Ed Davis would not have helped at all- 3 years 20 million...a Little bit more than the mid level exception true---- im sure he wouldnt have given up an extra mill or two (if he even had to- with no Florida income tax its probaly pretty much a wash), ---- no way he takes practically the same money to go to Miami over the rebuilding miserable Trailblazers.....

and seriously- when you have Amare and Haslem- who needs a young energetic, athletic big man that could runthe floor with Dragic? lol

can you tell me how the Chalmers trade improved the team? Or how an Anderson salary dump would help the team?- I mean you say you dont need big men - when a few posts before turnup said the exact opposite...hard to figure. You think you would get ANYTHING for Anderson? you are probably gonna have to tie a draft pick to him to get rid of him.

hey..i was DEFINITELY not the one who said that when he is on the floor - Birdman is as good as Tristan Thompson, lol. that was your buddy turnup over there...lol

What big bucks did he spend on Gerald Green and Amare?Green and Amare are making slightly more than 1 million. What the fuck are you talking about?

And ftr Green has been solid. 11 PPG off the bench and solid is defense. I will take that from any player who I'm paying only a million dollars. He's hot and cold but he's def worth his contract. He deserved more than what were paying him to be honest with you

I wonder what percentage of posts on these 93 pages contain no mention or reference to either the Heat or the Cavs.

Anyone want to set the over/under?

it was sarcasm..lol...i am well aware that Arison and Riley scraped the bottom of the barrel when putting the team's bench together. Obviously you get what you pay for. All though- all i heard during the fall was how the Heat were "12 deep".....does that count the hydration technician?

bksballer- your post from Oct. 12th-- just saying...

1) Yes they looked bad last year before the Bosh injury and after the dragic injury. You're going to look bad when your role players off the bench consisted of Danny Granger, Sean Williams, James Ennis, Bill Walker, Mike Beasley, Udonis Haslem, & etc for most of the year.

2) They were not in the conversation at the end? WHAT. On April 9th, 2015 with less than one week left in the season they were 1 game out of the playoffs spot........but according to this article they were not in the conversation at the end of the season

3) Depth issues off the bench? This team can literally go 12 deep if they really want to. This is by far the Heat deepest team in years

4) Maybe Dragic isn't the same player from two years ago? Great or maybe he is asked to do different things? Miami would gladly take 16 & 5 on over 50% shooting which is what he did in 26 games with Miami.

5) Why do they need to add 3 bench players when they're already 11-12 deep?

I did not think Chalmers would get traded. I also thought highly of McRoberts who's been a failure.

Nothing wrong with being incorrect sometimes.

You hyped Love since he came been with Cleveland and he has been garbage

haha...hey hey...dont get me started on the Lakers- your boy Jordan Clarkson has gone in the TANK after having a strong start to the season. He was shooting over 40% from 3 for a while if i remember- and is already down to 32% after having absolutely abysmal months the last 2 months- not only from 3- but from the field as well. A Dion-Waiters-like assist-to-turnover ratio of almost 1-1 is pretty awful too. Last year Clarkson was not exactly an assist machine- but in 25 minutes a game he averaged 3.5

Gee, now we're gonna talk about the Lakers. No one could have seen that coming.

This is why you are the biggest joke on the Hoop and everyone makes fun of you. Your team got their asses kicked by 34 points on their homecourt in a game that one of the leaders of the team called a "statement game."

But, instead of doing as @Mecca suggested and taking your lumps like a man, you go into your usual bitch mode and start talking about teams that have nothing to do with the thread. But then, we all knew to expect it.

Like @TurnUpTheHeat suggested, maybe you should concern yourself with the Cavs being 0-3 against the teams from the West that they are most likely to see in the finals instead of the Heat and Lakers.

It was the same at CBS. Only difference it was usually Heat/Lakers threads mixed in with some Boston threads

and the funny thing about the Love stuff is- that in a lot of ways- its a Cavs problem- and not a Love problem-

before Kyrie Irving came back Kevin Love was playing like an absolute all star. This is true- he was top 5 in the league in rebounding- he was the most efficient post scorer in the NBA..etc....the teams defensive numbers with him on the floor were actually POSITIVE (though i am not trying to claim he is a GOOD defender- just that he was playing solidly)

he has downright been awful statistically since Kyrie came back- in everything. Now some of that is on Love for not being as aggressive- but he cant pass himself the ball. Its a team-wide failure- because its obvious that the guy is just ultra talented by how he was playing when he was being relied on.....the Cavs need to figure out and STICK to a system where they all work together--- it was such a shame that he got hurt in that Boston series because it seriously LOOKED awesome- the offense and how ALL 3 were working together at that point...
