I'd be more than okay with this trade scenario.
I like that trade for Houston & Miami... bad idea for atl, imo

He's good for rebounding, can finish some lobs, and block some shots, but not the same guy who helped carry the Magic to the finals. I'd rather have Whiteside.Which is why I want him. If the Heat were to somehow bring in both players, it would be Casspi that addresses a good majority of the Heat's needs checkboxes then Howard. The way the NBA is going, Howard is merely a luxury (and an overpaid one) then a necessity.

Which PG do the Rockets get, Dragic? It sounds like they'd win the trade for moving Howard, adding a PG who could help run their offense, and a younger shot blocking center that they could try to re-sign in the offseason. For Houston, you get rid of a center with a bad back who's on the downside, while getting a PG that just turned 30 who's used to playing in an uptempo offense. Anderson is an expiring contract, and Whiteside.....well.....do with him what you want (if you're Houston).

I like that deal for Miami and Houston more than Atlanta, they'd pretty much be giving up on this season.Well, like you said, the deal that I mentioned gives Miami a replacement center (and a pretty good one) in Horford and gets Miami a really good guard in Teague. Atlanta gets the short-end of the stick with Howard, but he's still one of the better centers and he has a player options next year on his contract, which he's likely to back out of and re-sign for a longer deal (and he's from Atlanta). I'm no GM though or NBA insider so I have no clue on what's going to happen.
I agree with you. But Whiteside's going to want the max, and as well as know he's not worth it.
I don't see him getting 5 yr max from anyone.
2-3 yr maybe 50-60M with team options IMO
I agree and his actions isn't helping. I'll be stunned if a team gives him more than 3 years
This is a deal I can live with. I don't want Deng involved in any trade unless were getting a SF back. All Deng being involved does is weaken our bench as Winslow or Green would be forced to start
I provided that earlier, but that's best case scenario for the Heat. This gives us a better center who's more balanced and doesn't have as high of a asking price as Howard (and potentially Whiteside). This seems like a pipe dream to me though.
I don't want to give up Justice Winslow though.
next thing youll be telling me is that you think ISIS is misunderstood and we should make peace. lolThere are some teams out there that will get desperate. Either way, I'm just not sold on Whiteside anymore. He's got a lot of potential, but he's a dumbass.

ATlanta would need a lot more in that deal...they arent gonna give up all that for Howard who's contract expires in 3 months. They could get a boatload from Boston for JUST horfordWell, like you said, the deal that I mentioned gives Miami a replacement center (and a pretty good one) in Horford and gets Miami a really good guard in Teague.
