Yeah it's hard to say. I'm not a doctor so the calf strain could just really be a bad strain. I remember the abdominal strain he suffered in the 2nd round of the playoffs back in 2012. Maybe Bosh is susceptible to strains easily, I have no clue.

But if it's another blood clot, he should retire immediately as you said. He'll be able to do TV the day he retires.

Yeah I'm hoping it is a really bad calf injury rather than another blood clot issue.

Sadly, I doubt it. Multiple outlets are reporting that it's another blood clot scare. Thing is, I'm not even worried about the season. I'll take missing the playoffs if it means Bosh could continue with his career.

Wow, that is sad news. Hope it turns out ok, but doesn't look great at this point. Nobody, of course, deserves this... but Bosh probably least of all. Great dude and somehow still an underrated player.

I really dont know. I hope they dont do too much. IF anyone has any sense they realize Love isnt going anywhere. Im not saying its not possible AT SOME POINT- but no way he gets dealt before tehy see him in his first healthy playoffs and under a system that actually is TRYING to use him.

Yeah, the current rumor re: Love seems to be that he will be kept for the rest of this season and then dealt in the off-season. Either way, word is that he won't be in Cleveland next year.

I agree with you though, I think it all depends on how the rest of the year goes. If he starts performing more consistently, I doubt the Cavs move him.

Sorry this had to happen to you guys again. The Heat just haven't been able to catch a break with injuries.

Crazy shit is outside of those 2 weeks in January, we have been really healthy this year. Bosh played in every game and I believe Wade missed 2 games. This isn't even an injury. This is more of a health issue

Thats what sucks. This isn't a product of him just being soft and injury prone. He got a legit health problem that is awful to deal with.

Hopefully he finds a way to get back out there late this year!

Next season is also already lost for us.
Even if Bosh retires we take a full cap hit for his next years salary.
I heard the rule is team takes full cap hit until a year after retirement.
Wonder what Wades thinking.
Very depressing day for Heat fans.

Yup. We're looking forward to the 2017-2018 season. Next year's a complete wash considering we've traded away next year's draft pick.
