P12 needs to add more teams drop to 8 conf games and not have the good teams play each other

Big Ten is switching to 9 conference games and banning the scheduling of FCS schools starting in 2016.

wouldn't that be two more than the B1G right now?

Well, we all know the best team in the B1G was better than the best team in the Pac. The rest of the B1G can go to hell.

Texas 2014

Aug 30 vs. North Texas
Sep 6 vs. BYU
Sep 13 vs. UCLA (Jerry World)
Sep 27 at Kansas
Oct 4 vs. Baylor
Oct 11 vs. Oklahoma (Cotton Bowl, Dallas)
Oct 18 vs Iowa State
Oct 25 at Kansas State
Nov 1 at Texas Tech
Nov 8 vs West Virginia
Nov 15 at Oklahoma State
Nov 27 vs TCU

The first three games will be tough: North Texas is a decent team, played Georgia to the end last year.
BYU and UCLA will be difficult.

Then, the Baylor, OU stretch. At Kansas State and at Oklahoma State.

With new coaching staff, all will be new. Hopefully we find a QB to get us through the season. We played last year with one of the least capable D1 quarterbacks, and won a few games. Don't want to go through that again.

Aug 30 - Penn State (Dublin, Ireland)
Sep 13 - @ Missouri
Sep 20 - Bethune Cookman
Oct 2 - @ Houston
Oct 9 - BYU
Oct 18 - Tulane
Oct 25 - Temple
Nov 1 - @ UConn
Nov 14 - Tulsa
Nov 22 - SMU
Nov 28 - @ South Florida
Dec 4 - @ East Carolina

I'm gonna hold off on making my W-L predictions right now. The toughest games, PSU, @ Missouri, @ Houston and BYU are all within the first 5 weeks. The rest of the schedule looks pretty easy.

2014 Ohio State Football Schedule
Aug. 30 - vs. Navy (at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium)
Sept. 6 - Virginia Tech
Sept. 13 - Kent State
Sept. 20 - Off
Sept. 27 - Cincinnati
Oct. 4 - at Maryland
Oct. 11 - Off
Oct. 18 - Rutgers
Oct. 25 - at Penn State
Nov. 1 - Illinois
Nov. 8 - at Michigan State
Nov. 15 - at Minnesota
Nov. 22 - Indiana
Nov. 29 - Michigan
Dec. 6 - Big Ten Championship Game

Conference teams not played: Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin

OOC looks pretty good. Navy's given us fits, and opening on the road is kind of unusual.

I really hope we pound VT, just for the reason their fans seem to like to talk smack about us without cause. And Cinci too, they need to be shown who owns Ohio.

Not concerned about Maryland and Rutgers too much yet, but Maryland on the road looks like an upset game.

@ PSU - Looking forward to this game, and welcoming their new coach. I'm sure he has this game circled too. He'll be looking to make a statement, should be a great game as usual.

Illinois, meh.

@MSU - Revenge game, and more than likely decides who gets to CCG.

@Minny - Another upset game here. Can't be looking ahead, or hungover from Sparty.

Indiana, meh.

TSUN - The Game is in Columbus, I hope we see another brawl like last year! Those bastages!

In the games not played, we miss the best from west. It does make me sad, Wisky, Nebraska and Iowa are always hard fought games.

I think Ferentz and Iowa are due for another good year, and they are my pick to play us in the CCG.

Only the top team in each division play in the CCG (usually:L). They won't have a consolation game for the second place teams in each division. You will be forced to watch a team in green playing in the CCG.:yahoo::yahoo:

2014 USC Schedule:

8/30 - Fresno St.
9/6 - @Stanford
9/13 - @Boston College
9/20 - Bye
9/27 - Oregon St.
10/4 - Arizona St.
10/11 - @Arizona
10/18 - Colorado
10/25 - @Utah
11/1 - @Wazzou
11/8 - Bye
11/13 - CAL
11/22 - @UCLA
11/29 - Notre Dame

I think USC finishes up at about 10-2. Most likely losses are Stanford, UCLA and Notre Dame, I don't think we lose to all 3. ASU is also dangerous, but we get them at the Coliseum and they lost a lot from last year's team.

2014 Notre Dame Schedule

Aug 30 - Rice
Sept 6 - Michigan
Sept 13 - Purdue *
Sept 27 - Syracuse *
Oct 4 - Stanford
Oct 11 - UNC
Oct 18 - @ Florida State
Nov 1 - Navy *
Nov 8 - @ Arizona State
Nov 15 - Northwestern
Nov 22 - Louisville
Nov 29 - @ USC

Pretty tough schedule this year. Not playing a true road game til mid October is odd, but I'm ok with it. 8-4 or 9-3 seems reasonable with this schedule. Only loss that seems definite is @ FSU. All other games are winnable, but we won't win them all. Love the diversity of the schedule though.

MSU had their one good year this decade, it's payback time.

Having Stanford that early is pretty tough. As usual, good schedule for USC. @wazzou will be an interesting game to watch as well.

Northwestern, but no MSU this year seems odd.

Three 11 win seasons, 2 division titles, 2 Big Ten titles in the last 4 years is one good year? You didn't go to Ohio State to play academics, did you?
