Oh, so that means the Nationals have no shot at a World Series title.
I get the reason for the prognosticators, but they are rarely ever correct.
So you disagree with JJT's take of 70-75 wins?
I mentioned in a previous post that I see them as a mid 80s win team. (84-87)*
Losing Darvish hurts, but he pitches every 5th day....its a tough loss...but not the end of the world.

Chi Chi to AAA. Buckel to AA.
Can you tell us what your interpretation of "everyone staying healthy means?" Because injuries are going to happen; you know and I know. It's for how long, right?
When do we "have to be" at 25 men?

I still think that this decision was made back when we drafted the kid. They may have had some internal disagreements, but I think the main decision makers wanted this kid to make the club.
I was afraid when I heard that he missed the Futures Game due to a heel problem that it might be more serious.Sidenote - Gallo to see a foot specialist.

Brinson might have a monster season playing at High Desert if he's continued to work on his swing
And it figures that none of our higher end arms in High Desert
The infield at Hickory (Michael De Leon, Travis Demeritte, Ronald Guzman, Josh Morgan) is uber talented
Solid rotations in AAA & AA give really good depth, Luis Ortiz in Hickory as well and I had forgot about David Perez, talk about a slow riser
Actually the AA team in general: Gallo, Alfaro, Williams, Mazara, Asher, Thompson, Payano, etc...
Like to see Jairo Beras improve on last years disappointing start

Think I read earlier that it was/is Saturday.

I have been against DeShields being on this roster if it left Rua or Smolinski off. But I will admit that DeShields was starting to hit some towards the end of ST. Not sure how soon we are able to send DeShields down if he is not producing and Peguero is as long as he is on the opening day roster.
DeShields cannot be sent down without being offered back to Houston first, and then clearing waivers.
