I would add Choo to that list if he rebounds enough to have any trade value. Of course we would have to supplement his salary.

I know you want to get rid of Choo and his salary, but accept the fact that he's probablt not going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

If they get the chance to unload him it would have to be early in the contract IMO and he would have to prove healthy. That means he would have to rebound this year offensively and health-wise in order for a team to perceive enough value, that the Rangers don't have to eat a major chunk of his salary, in order to move him at the break or next winter. If that doesnt happen they may just be stuck with that contract for its duration.

I'm not near as down on Mr Choo as some here.

He was hitting terrifically until his injury. Now his D in LF was like watching a bear running on marbles. But we - no one else - wants this guy for his glove. Never did, never will.

He is, IMO, a truly unique hitter in that he can hit LO, and produce for average. Or he can be moved down and show his power and drive in runs.

Looks like Gallardo is facing a LAD lineup that is close to full-strength, certainly at the top at least. Rangers throwing out a comparable one themselves.

Is the announcer, Dave Raymond, employed by Channel 21? Did he do games last year?

I sure don't remember this guy.

saddles wants to get rid of anyone who stands in the way of certain minor leaguers. he would eat 3/4's of Beltre's, Fielder's and Choo's salaries to unload them

Chirinos is starting off just like he ended last season.....threw out Rollins by about 8 feet trying to steal 2nd.

without the Rangers eating 1/2 to 3/4's of his salary and taking peanuts in return don't see him going any where

Chirinos has been an extremely pleasant surprise.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on Choo.

1-0 Dodgers going into the 3rd.

Gallardo has not been sharp. In fact, thank goodness Rollins tried to steal it may be a lot worse.

I hate following online... did Martin score on an error before Beltre popped out?

Martin scored from 3rd on an "attempted" steal of 2nd by Elvis. Elvis took off, stopped...faked a move to 2nd - catcher threw to 2nd...ball got away... Martin scored.
