Begin Preparing For SportsHoopla 2.0

SportsHoopla is moving to a new software package and it will be happening overnight. If all goes well, tomorrow morning SportsHoopla 2.0 will be here. You'll notice some changes and it might take a measure of getting used to.

Two main things.

1.) Know your password because you're going to have to login on the new site.
If you don't, do a password recovery now while it's easy. Remember, if you have any problems and get locked out, use the Contact Us link (it'll be at the bottom of the new site too).

2.) If you need to save your PMs, download them now.
Underneath the list of PMs, you'll see Download all Private Messages as: and some options. Do that now if your PMs are important to you.

Team boards with unique styles might be the default style at first but they'll get rebuilt one-by-one.

Working from that list and applying valuations to the ranked players, colleague Dave Cameron presents a ranking of the most valuable farm systems in the game. Baseball Prospectus has also issued its own organizational rankings in recent days, so be sure to check those out as well. Both sites agree on the top four teams — the Cubs, Twins, Rangers, and Dodgers – though Fangraphs ranks them in that order while BP prefers the Los Angeles farm to that of Texas.

I am glad Fangraphs thinks a lot more of our farm system that it does our current team. lol

That would be awesome if we landed this guy. Our crop of IFers would get even better. I imagine he would be Beltre's replacement and would allow us to trade one of our valuable IFers.

I replied to this post this morning (earlier) and it showed up. Now it's nowhere to be found.

So if this is redundant, sorry.

But as of right now, we don't have a MIF with any trade value of note to speak of IMO. EA - 2 down years and overpaid - Profar has to play again to re-establish his value, and Odor - young, and has yet to really determine his value.

I'm gonna have to say probably. But hey, this has been a terrific site and I'm cutting slack for 48 hours anyway, to see what they had in mind.

It's a cleaner looking site, I'll give em this. But right now, I'm pretty sure stuff is falling off the grid, and perhaps this is to be expected.
