Ya thats what I was told. They would be willing to take a big chunk of salary, it all depends on the youth talent they get. They are about to be in a mode where they fill all of their open roster spots with young guys. Their ideal trade would be with us to get EA or profar because they want to move hanley to 3rd

No way we trade Andrus or profar for him

Ya me too. I am trying to learn as much as I can about it, but I can only learn basics. But let me clarify, I only ASSUME Jd is keeping it close to the chest. My friend wont tell me anything. I dont know if its because he doesnt know, or if its because he cant say. But usually when he cant tell me something he'll be up front and tell me he cant. So I think JD is just being very secretive about this. I couldnt tell you why. I mean, perhaps its because if seattle learns we are in on kemp they would put walker on the block for him.

Or maybe its because he doesnt want insiders like rosenthal, heyman, olney, morosi etc to excite fans. No sense in getting excited to set up for disappointment. He's learned a lesson from last year's upton fiasco is my theory

Isn't Sardinas a natural second basemen? I'm guessing for someone like kemp they would want a natural shortstop. Even though I'm sure he can play both, its matt kemp.

Are the Dodgers not trying to win the division or something? Why the hell would they deal Kemp if there wasn't something wrong with him. Makes no sense if he's healthy and they expect him to fully return, and the people that would know him best are apparently willing to trade him and send cash.

I think Sardinas is a natural shortstop but has played second base just in case. He grades out as a very good defensive shortstop too so I'd say he's a natural shortstop.

They'll be out on Kemp once they sign Choo. They wouldn't use Walker for Price even.

They really need the money to re-sign Kershaw in a year is my only guess. I guess they don't print their own money.

well, when you have 4 outfielders and are paying 3 of them huge sums of money, and one of them isnt 100 percent yet, then I think it makes it a no brainer. Dont forget, Kershaw is an FA next year and they still wanna sign tanaka

I would take Crawford in a pinch. Good baserunner, good outfielder, good hitter, lead off hitter
