Some guy named Larry, think Rev may remember what his prior Espn handle was. That guy seems to think he's the expert on everything over there
Same guy. Larry Carvell

Cruz would likely be a DH, but I think Choo is out of the question for us at this point. I think we're gonna push hard for kemp though

Cruz is probably half the years and half the $$ vs. Choo. In Choo you have a leadoff option you don't have with Cruz. I just don't see JD paying 120+ million

He could haved signed McCann the money was in line, he wasn't going to give 5 years full NT because it blocks Alfaro
details bennie, details

Frankly I think he's just so pessimistic right now it's affecting his logic. I remember one post he pretty much said that JD doesn't know how to spend money on free agents.

Good point. Which leads me to the next question. Would you rather have Cruz or Morales at DH? Considering price, familiarity, and productivity

I don't what their price is, but assuming its similar...I'd probably go Cruz. Tough call though, but I can't see JD giving up the pick to sign a DH.

I think I could be on board with this

Martin CF
Andrus SS
Fielder 1B
Beltre 3B
Kemp LF
Cruz DH
Rios RF
Soto C
Profar 2B

Very RHH heavy. I'd put Prince cleanup, since he'd still have a big bat behind him

I forgot about the draft pick compensation. Easily the answer is Cruz IMO

I'd go with Cruz, "the devil you know...."

all depends on the price or deal of course

As long as it isn't a 4 year deal for him then I'd have to agree with you. If Kendrys didn't have the draft pick compensation attached to him I probably would have picked him, but I'm kind of against giving up a draft pick for a strict DH unless he's amazing offensively.
