Hawks now 3-1 against Cleveland. Up until tonight, I had been concerned about the quality of play as of late. They had a five game winning streak coming into tonight, but it wasn't a pretty streak for the most part. The Hawks are continuing to pad their lead in the East.

Lebron had more turnovers than baskets.

Lebron had more turnovers than rebounds.

Lebron had more turnovers than assists.

Lebron had more turnovers than made free-throws.

Yeah, you gotta go all the way back to Sunday when he went 15-35 from the field and 3-11 from the free throw line including missing 2 at the end of the game when he could have given them the lead to find one as bad as last night.

no doubt....last night was the first night since LeBron came back from his injury where I thought right off the bat that we were going to lose this game.

LeBron is having a TON of turnovers this season....they really could have used a backup point guard- because I mean- Delly is not good- and he really cant distribute either.

I hope tjhat does not come back to bite them at some point in the playoffs.....

Ben McLemore is playing a very solid game in Miami tonight......I think he will be a late bloomer and end up being very good. I haven o clue why they drafted Stauskas- when this kid is a perfectly legit shooting guard prospect that I think has a higher ceiling than Stauskas-

Yep, Staukas was another wasted pick.

how about the Pacers? Did u see they (currently depending on the Miami result) have taken the 8th seed from the Heat? They just beat the Cavs twice during the Cavs great run......If PG comes back....they could be a team you dont want to play if you are the Hawks or CAvs or Raptors in the first round.

Here's my worry with the Pacers:

1. Hibbert is a shmuck and a fainting goat.

2. George could kill the chemistry the way Jameer did for the Magic when he returned from injury.

Are they better without Paul George?

Hell no...

But, they have learned to win w/out him and guys seem to be really comfortable in their roles.

i just dont understand why they panicked and took the kid when they just invested such a high pick on McLemore- who i liked a ton coming out of school - i actually liked him as #1 overall at one point........that draft is actually looking better and better as time goes on- i mean- it still is not good....but late guys that have come around like Gobert....like Giannis, ...Len is playing really well...

shabazz is playing better.....adams isnt bad...

thats true- anytime adding a guy this late- even if its a small role an have chemistry concerns- adding a major guy could really have an impact.....but - i am not even sure who they plat at SF off the top of my head right now--probably CJ Miles a decent amount? hes actually notbad....

McElmore sabotaged himself coming into workouts out of shape.

He had a slow start. But, the Kings panicked when picking Staukas...unless they planned to trade one of them.

Remember they were hot and heavy for Rondo. Maybe Stakus was trade bait?

Utah has quietly done a great job with their picks.

Exum, Gobert, Burks, Burke, Katner and Hood were all solid picks.

Cavs lost the 4th quarter to the Suns 27-9...and still won by double digits......another nice defensive effort from the Cavs.....ever since the trades and LeBron's return they have played like one of the best 10 defenses in the league....good stuff...

yah...i thought that they short changed themselves a little bit for Kanter....what did they exactly get? did they even get a pick? did they just get an OKC late pick or something because i thought the Cavs got that OKC pick and then of course moved it quickly for Timo (who has exceeded everones expectations).

Favors too remember! they obviously picked him over Kanter.....

so they have a front court of Favors are the 4 and Gobert at the 5....thats solid...Heyward of course is the max guy and team leader....

Burke and Exum in the back court...

your right...They have a ton of really good young talent- and they have it both in the front court and back court........

Exum is going to take time- but if he can become something special in a couple years- right when the Spurs should be coming to an end, along with some other western powers...maybe they make a run....

How do you feel about their chances against Atlanta?

They beat the Cavs pretty easily.

I mean, your guys didn't get curb stomped on the scoreboard.

But, the outcome was never really in doubt.

Personally, I am still on the fence about Atlanta and the Warriors.

But, I'm starting to believe....

I dunno- like i said in a previous post- that was the only game since LeBron ahs been back where it just felt bad from start to end- the Cavs did get blitzed early- and came back and tied it- but it looked like they used all their energy just making up the deficit they put themselves in.

Atlanta plays a funky style- that i think if you see it only once here or there it can be tricky. You can prepare for a system though. After you play a team multiple times and have multiple days to game plan over the span of a series you can do some things.

There is only so much you can do whenyou game plan for pure talent like LeBron and Kyrie and Love.....

Like I said at hte beginning- and i have said even when the Cavs went through their streak where everyoen was injured and the team was under going major changes because of Andy being done and the trades---- Chicago is the only team that I think can beat the CAvs inthe East.....and since Butler and Rose will be back before the end of the regular season- i still give the Bulls that legit shot......I just dont see Atlanta beating the Cavs during playoff basketball 4 out of 7.....but who knows

I guess the one thing that bothers me- is that sometimes its "jsut your year"....we look at the Warriors, and they have some of that going- and so do the Hawks.....the Mavericks had that feeling the year they won it all despite not being a top 3 team in my opinion talent wise.....thats where I give the Hawks a punchers chance....

but- I think it would go 6....Cavs would finish it off at home in game in 6....The Hawks actually dont have great size....and dont really have anyone that can guard LeBron (as if anyone does).....

but itll be fun thats for sure

When I look at this years Warriors team, I see 2006-2007 Mavs.

Curry could end up the NBA MVP just like Dirk and the Warriors could get bounced by the #8 seed * if it's the Thunder* just like Dallas.

They smoked everyone at the start of the year. But, they look terrible when their shots aren't falling.

You know how much I love Klay.

* whispers Cavs took the wrong Thompson*

But, he has been in the toilet lately.

I'm sure they will right the ship in the next 20 games and it would be AWESOME to see a Warriors vs. Thunder first round series.

But, I'm afraid for them...lol

Atlanta reminds me of the 2003-04 Pistons.

No real Superstar. But, one hell of a TEAM.

Damn, Wiggins, Kmart and Neal are killing the Blazers.

Control one of the 3 and Rip City would get the W.
