Dickey is a novelty pitcher and a move to the AL west and rbia would do him and us no favors. I'm not interested in giving up prospects like Olt, Profar, Martin, Perez, Grimm, etc for dickey. I want no part of him at rbia.

I'd take dickey if he were free and for something like 3/$45 (that could be written off if he sucks and cost no future stars). In a trade, no thanks.

Just looked at his numbers pitching at HOU. Only one game, but one of his worst outings last year.

Was just looking through grenkie and shields numbers and they pretty much have the same numbers.. In terms of era, k's, innings, walks and hits allowed. Not sure how much better grenkie is. Even though grenkie has a better fip xfip, he has always underperformed his advanced stats ( 3 straight years now ) its weird to be honest. How good is grenkie? The good grenkie of last year, the cy type, or the one that atruggled in 2010?

When he pitches in hitters parks, he doesn't do as well. He has many years of service and only one good one. I don't trust the one year wonder, ESPECIALLY not when it costs good young talent.

He's injury prone. This past season is the only season he's ever struck out more than 130 hitters. This year it skyrocketed to 230. Even in his cy young season last year he gave up 24 bombs at Citi field. You think that's gonna get better at rbia?

He had one year where he pitched out of his mind. This would be the quintessential mistake of buying high. No thanks.
