I don't think that's going to happen. Sounds like josh will be a ranger. If that's the case I don't want to give up what az wants for Upton.

Also, lee has been discussed plenty of times and nothing has come of it. Could just be posturing by AZ.

3way with AZ & PHI? Olt & prospect + prospect to PHI, Lee to AZ, Upton to TX?

They probably won't want Elvis for price. They'll want Profar. Moreland? Maybe. He's an upgrade over Loney for sure. Perez is exactly the kind of guy they'd want. Not even sure that package gets it done though.

actually i think they would go with Elvis. they have him for this season and then roll him over for more prospects for the last year of his contract. that's been their pattern the last year or so. Moreland gives them a lefty DH/1B to go with Loney and they get another pitcher that's really close to the MLB level and maybe a couple of lower level prospects

Pitchers like price don't come around very often. If they deal him they'll want a possible superstar who's under control for years and cheap. Not a guy who will only be around for two more years. I think you could get shields with Andrus, but not price.

If that's true they must be close. Otherwise, I can't see the Texas staff letting that get out.
