Yep.....read that earlier.
Although, it is from EG...so take that for what its worth..

also people are saying dodgers are the clear favorite to land grienke now.........guessing josh deal is getting close and making the way around the meetings
but also read that the Rangers were ready & willing to match or better any offer to Greinke
Link?
I really like the idea of Shields in Texas. He's always pitched well here and would be a hell of a #2 to go with Darvish. Wouldn't require the financial requirement of Greinke either. No way I'd give up Profar for him though.
When it comes to a willingness to spend on Greinke, the Rangers are "right there" with the Dodgers, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post
Yes, but does that change in they sign Hamilton to a 4 yr deal worth upwards of 90 million? And that doesn't mean they'll match or beat any other offer. It just means they're serious players.
90 mil??? the reported deal offered is 100 mil or more
i am pretty sure we wont sign josh and grienke...its one or the other
but damn if we did sign both that would be sweet as hell
i wouldn't think signing Hamilton would have any effect on the Rangers and Greinke.
we read that a little different, being right there with the Dodgers to me reads that they will match or beat

That would be the most expensive way though. Would like to get upton and grenkie. I dont know how possible that would be?
expected payroll with josh and shields 140mil or so.......not bad at all
then we got the MY 16 mil coming off the books and cruz will be gone so we will being looking at about dropping down to about 115 next year
so we can and should do it if rays dont ask to much
