If that was his best year? No. I'm not as worried about a couple more million a year as much as I am the number of years though. With LaRoche hitting in front of Beltre in RBIA his average numbers should be better than at Washington.

Kinsler isn't going to the OF and he shouldn't. He loses too much value as a COF. Then again, I also don't think he should be our lead off guy either.

Agreed to a point, but if the best team includes Andrus at SS, Profar at 2B and Kinsler in LF, then despite the lost value its something you have to consider

Also adam laroche would be a good pick up for texas, hes had a better career then most people actually think.

I would consider that, if we unload on 2 very good starting pitchers plus resigning adams and grab another reliever

Career means squat until a player is on the HOF ballot. Only thing of value of an active player is the projection of what he will do next season, next week or the next at bat.

I think he has value, but I'd rather have LaRoche. However, if Elvis was involved in a deal for Upton we better get more than Upton.

If Elvis is included in any deal for Upton we need to get something extra in it. Would rather, if they trade Elvis, they go after a #1 starter like Price with him

If we sign LaRoche and were going to use Elvis as a trade chip he needs to be packaged with Moreland for price or shields.

Another thought. What about signing melky Cabrera? He's a COF switch hitter that shouldn't have any problem hitting in rbia and could come at a bargain. He would possibly be a better alternative to Upton that wouldn't any trade pieces that could be used for price or shields.

I hardly consider PED's make a person a "druggie". He's one of many players who used them. He just got caught. You're nuts if you think absolutely nobody on the Rangers ever used them.
