Thanks for the info, Sickness. I didn't know Cully played safety in college. At times I love what I see from Cully, but he needs to become more consistent before he can step up as a starter on this team at EITHER position.
With all these young'ns snappin at his heels, Carlos moving to Safety may be the best bet to elongate his career and keep him in SF (and avoid the dreaded 'dead money'), but I'd much prefer drafting a true Safety before moving a CB over to S, unless the player had true height or amazing football IQ.
(I have nightmares of Jimmy Graham type freaks merely putting their hands up like it's notihng and using size to catch passes over the Niners secondary)
