The deepest positions in this draft are definitely OT & CB. And WR to a slightly lesser extent IMO.

TE's pretty strong too.

The interior OL isn't great IMO. Nor is DE (outside of Clowney of course). Not a huge fan of the safety class either. It's got a few good ones, but no Eric Reid's this year.

DT is pretty average looking.

I have to say that Calvin Pryor and Deone Buchanon fit the bill. I think Ladler will be good to, just not a great fit for us.

Just noticed Stanley Jean-Baptiste on that bleacher report mock at 82.

A late 3rd to fill a huge need that should have been filled by Whitner but wasn't (a FS who can cover)??? Yes please!

Pryor at FS and Reid at SS. Would be very happy with that if certain WRs and Dennard have already been picked.

Arob n Bucannon in the 2nd rd scenario makes me a happy camper.

I would love Bucannon and Easley in the 2nd.

I would even love to trade out of the first to get another 2nd and get a CB and an extra pick for 2015.

Moncrief, would be a steal, Swanson I want.

So let us say

Trade out of 1st - 1st in 2015, 2nd in 2014 & 5th in 2014
2nd round
Roby / Roberson
Buccannon
Easley
3rd round
Swanson
Stanley Jean-Baptiste
4th round
Moncrief/Sutton
Jared Abbrederis
5th round
BPA/ILB
6th round
BPA/RB
7th round
BPA/DT
BPA/DE
BPA/FB/SS/QB

Lache Seastrunk - RB - Bears

Baylor RB Lache Seastrunk broke as many tackles per rushing attempt as Carlos Hyde and Jeremy Hill, according to Greg Peshek.

Peshek adds Seastrunk is a "slippery back." Hill and Hyde are both widely viewed as backs who consistently break first contact, and we would give the latter the edge in the regard, but Seastrunk likely avoids tackles in a somewhat different way. The Baylor back only recorded nine catches during his time at Baylor, which will be a major question during the draft process.

Ra'Shede Hageman - DL - Golden Gophers

Minnesota DL Ra'Shede Hageman will post "J.J. Watt-like numbers at the Combine," according to NFL.com's Bucky Brooks.

"From a physical standpoint, he is everything," Brooks adds. Watt posted a ridiculous 4.81 forty to go along with 34 bench press reps and three-cone drill of 6.88 seconds at 6'5/290 pounds. Those numbers will be nearly impossible to replicate.

I love Ra'Shede too. It is between him and Easley in the 2nd. The benefit to Easley is that we can stash him on IR.

So either

Ra'Shede
Roberson
Bucannon

or

Roby
Bucannon
Easley

If we trade down into the 2nd.

It is early but some of the guys that I like (at need positions) are: Jean-Baptiste, Roby, Bucannon, Matthews, Benjamin, Roberson, Purifoy. Those are just a few that I would love to get our hands on in the first couple of rounds.

I think ideally if we could get Roby or Baptiste, Bucannon and Matthews then I would be very happy with our first 3 picks and wouldn't really care about the rest of the draft as long as we got a freaking KR/PR at some point.

there is no way Hageman makes it to the second round. I would not be surprised to see him be gone at the cowboys pick in the first if he is still available there. They only had one of the worst DL's in football this past season and a massive need at whatever position he would play with them.

Who is regarded as the top CB? I think that answer has been all over the place...

I know this JeanBaptiste guy is growing on me the more I read...

Still need that C n deep threat WR.. not just any WR, but a Deep threat and lets pay more attention to other experts opinions on WRs than Baalke's group..(thats for you Baalke)

Typically, you see Dennard, Gilbert, Verrett, and Roberson mentioned at the top.

I'd rank em':

Gilbert
Verrett
Dennard (just because his overall body of work isn't the best)
Roby
Roberson
Purifoy
Joyner
Jean-Baptiste

It's not even close. Darqueze Dennard is the best CB of this draft. I'm going based on how I like my CBs to play and based on advanced stats. Out of Fuller, Purifoy, T.Mitchell, Vernett, Gilbert, Roby, and Hampton (in this order) Dennard leads the pack having the lowest completion against him. He shutdown Ty Mont in the bowl game, the guy might hurt himself by running a slow 40(4.47-4.50) and not having hands, but that's the only reason he's projected to be overlooked.

Didn't TY leave the game early in the 2nd half?
